Thank you so much for your patience and understanding! It has been a long process, but thanks to the hard work and skills of Coteries Italian translator, Mattia, and great effort made by our QA and implementation team, the update is now live!

While part of our team is responsible for overseeing the progress the translators make with bringing new language versions to Coteries and Shadows, the majority of the development team works on Serial Cleaners a single player, isometric stealth action game a sequel to our game Serial Cleaner, which boasts more than 1,3 million owners on all platforms around the world!

Serial Cleaners tell the story of four cleaners for the mob shady figures, whose task is to clean after gangsters in New York city in the 90s. Each and every character has a personality and skill set of his own and while the complex story evolves, players will taste four distinct playstyles from very tactical and stealthy to fast and ruthless. All of this in the delicious sauce of Jean Michel Basquiats-inspired art style and music from the era.

That said we encourage you to take a look at an actual work-in-progress gameplay, recorded in-game, which dynamically shows the process of creating the map, as well as one of protagonists - Lati, moving around the level, when the cops are arriving to the scene! Therefore its my pleasure to announce that in a few months from now Coteries of New York will be available in Italian!

Italian language version will arrive as a free update, first on Steam and then on consoles. We are very excited to share this information with our Italian players, who supported us from the launch day! We also work hard to bring more good information about other upcoming language versions soon!

Its my great pleasure to announce that Vampire: The Masquerade Coteries of New York has been updated to version 1.09!

The most important feature coming with this version is the addition of two new languages in the game: Russian and simplified Chinese.

I would like to welcome all Chinese players and express how happy I am by the fact that Coteries of New York is finally available in simplified Chinese. It was a difficult task due to the scope of the game (more than 210 thousand words!) but its finally ready and I hope it will be an awesome surprise to all Chinese fans of Vampire: The Masquerade!

Next to adding new language versions, we have also prepared a short list of technical fixes, enumerated below:

• Win7 compatibility issues solved.
  
• Dictionary and Log improvements for Large font size.
  
• Fixes to existing translations (FR, BR-PT).

We have an important update for our Russian community regarding the localization of Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York. Here's a statement from the project lead on Coteries:

We are aware of a growing disappointment among some of you with the delays we're experiencing with the Russian language update for Coteries of New York. We appreciate you reaching out to voice your concerns, and would like to assure you that we take them seriously. The delay we've experienced is down to a number of issues that kept pushing the release of the update further into 2021, but the good news is that we're almost there.

We are currently working to stamp out bugs that would otherwise plague the Russian version on release were we to publish the update sooner. Other than some minor issues that we'd still like to get rid off before passing the game on to you hands, we've also encountered a few bigger bugs that would impact all versions of the game. We are now focusing on dealing with those, so we can improve the state of the game for all fans of Vampire: The Masquerade around the world.

We would like to ask for just a little more patience, realizing that you've already given us plenty - but would like to pledge that we're between 5 and 10 working days from updating the game with the Russian language version, as well as other fixes and improvements. We are currently waiting for some updated files from one of our partners, and working hard on testing the game - hence there might still be some small delays that make it impossible for us to declare a specific day that the update will go live. We are, however, doing all we can so that it comes sooner rather than later.

We assure you, however, that the wait is almost over, and would like to thank you for your ongoing patience. We hope this upcoming update will allow you to enjoy our game and the story it tells to the fullest.

After several months of hard work we can finally announce that Vampire: The Masquerade Coteries of New York is finally available in Brazilian-Portuguese!

The team to thank for making it happen is the one lead by Mrio Di Poi, who gathered a very talented translation and proofreading team, who did a superb high-quality job translating more than 210 THOUSAND words at amazing pace! Please appreciate the work done by Mrio, Ana Carolina Souza, Gui Tensol, Erez Milgron, Ina Stein de Amarante and Artur Andrade!

Also, Id like to thank our QA and implementation team, who spent hours hunting for bugs and errors, and fiercely eliminating them!

Last but not least, KUDOS to all Portuguese-speaking players of Coteries, who encouraged us along the way. I hope youll enjoy playing the game in your native language and if you find any inaccuracy or would like to bring our attention to any detail, please dont hesitate to point them out in Steam comments.

Just a day ago I had the pleasure to inform you about Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York winning the prestigious CEEGA prize in the Best Narrative category and I'm already back with more good news!

Coteries of New York celebrates its first Birthday today! Precisely a year ago, on December 11th, 2019, at 7 PM CET / 6 PM GMT / 10 AM PT the first, fully licensed Vampire: The Masquerade game since many years was released and in our wildest dreams we couldn't imagine that it will be Coteries of New York!

Now, 2020 comes to an end. It's been a strange year, a bad year, a difficult year. Many of our loved ones, friends, colleagues got sick. Some of the closest to us lost their battles with the virus and we will always carry them in our hearts and memories...

Our studio and Coteries did well. The game recouped its development and marketing costs in just four day since launch, participated in Humble Choice in September, inspired many talented performers and artists to produce wonderful cosplay creations and pieces of art, got its standalone expansion - Shadows of New York and finally received the CEEGA award in the Best Narrative category.

Not so long ago we have announced that Vampire: The Masquerade Coteries of New York will be getting expected language version the first one is going to be Russian. Back then we have promised that soon well be sharing more information about further language versions and the time for such an announcement has just come!

It is our pleasure to announce, that the second language version for Coteries of New York in line is French!

We have decided to start a cooperation with a very talented French translator, Benjamin, who passed his quality test brilliantly and were 100% sure that our French community will be pleased with the result in a couple of months, when Coteries of New York will be updated to include the French language version.

Now here comes an announcement, many of you were waiting for in the next couple of months Vampire: The Masquerade Coteries of New York will be getting new language versions on Steam and the first one we can confirm is Russian!

Soon we will share further announcements, unveiling other languages youll be able to play in. For now we have completed paperwork and allocated resources to sign the agreement with very talented group of Russian and Ukrainian translators.

Im sure that many of you are angry that it takes so much time to finally sign proper localization documents and we understand you. Were doing the best we can to add new languages as soon as possible. Yet, as small indie studio which self-publishes Coteries of New York we need to find a lot of money to be able to pay for translations and its expensive if you consider that the game has around 210 thousand words in dialogues and narrators text!

Still, were almost ready to announce more languages coming!

Lets keep it short: for several months youve been a tremendous support and motivation for the whole Vampire: The Masquerade Coteries of New York development team. We carefully read your post in discussions, advice, feedback and criticism every single voice helps us improve the games quality, and thats what care about the most.

Therefore we have a request for you: as were focusing on executing our priorities, such as providing you with new language versions, adding new features and erasing more bugs, we ask for every information regarding bugs you can send.

Only by obtaining as much info as possible, well be able to make an efficient bug-smashing patch in the upcoming future!

Hence, we ask all of you to send us emails on support@drawdistance.dev, giving as many technical details as possible, regarding every major bug you encountered. The time has finally come! Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York released on Nintendo Switch and the PC version got the biggest update since launch, which not only introduces several fixes and tweaks, but also improved game client with new locations and silhouettes of characters and new collector's content!

Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York Deluxe Edition is a bundle, which consists of the base game (significantly upgraded), an artbook (70 beautiful pages!) and official soundtrack (13 atmospheric tracks composed by Arkadiusz Reikowski and Brunon Lubas). The Deluxe Edition is now available for purchase!

Official Artbook consists of 70 pages full of concept arts from different stages of the game's development, final pieces of art included in the game, as well as quotes from the game's lead designer and artists engaged in creating stunning visuals - characters, backgrounds, animations - everything that makes Coteries of New York a truly atmospheric, fully licensed part of the globally renown Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition universe.

Additionally this artbook will contain link to over 20 Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York themed wallpapers (including desktop and mobile wallpapers and even some animated ones).

Official Soundtrack composed by Arkadiusz Reikowski, one of the most appreciated Polish composers, creator of several critically acclaimed soundtracks to games such as Kholat, Layers of Fear, Observer, Layers of Fear 2 etc., as well as by Brunon Lubas - one of the most talented Polish video games music composers, creator of Ritual: Crown of Horns soundtrack.

Also, on March 24th the PC vesion on Windows, MAC OS and Linux will also receive a significant update, as well as new accompanying content: the official soundtrack (13 tracks composed by amazing Arkadiusz Reikowski and Brunon Lubas), but also AN OFFICIAL ARTBOOK so many of you asked for!

With supermoon shining, we at Draw Distance have great news to share with you:
On March 24th at 10 AM PT / 5 PM GMT / 6 PM CET Vampire: The Masquerade Coteries of New York officially launches on Nintendo Switch! PS4 and Xbox One versions are coming after soon.

On occasion of the console launch we have prepared lots of good stuff for our beloved PC community. Coteries of New York will get a big update and more to-be-kept-in-secret-for-now surprises will be revealed.

Both the console versions and the updated PC version will contain additional elements, such as new graphical assets (new character portraits and new location backgrounds), improved music and numerous fixes. All technical details and full list of changes will be enumerated in a separate Steam announcement soon.

We have an important piece of news to share:

Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York now supports Mac OS and Linux!

We're fully aware that many members of the VtM community were waiting for this update and we're very sorry that you had to wait more than a months since the game released to be able to launch Coteries of New York on Mac OS and Linux.

We want to assure you that we're working hard to add all the features we wanted to add from the very beginning, erasing bugs, correcting typos and negotiating the best possible deals to add more language versions.

We'll be supporting Coteries of New York in the upcoming months to make sure that you can enjoy the highest quality we're able to deliver.

Saying that, It's my pleasure to announce that the version 1.0.05 is now live, which means that we have implemented several fixes and removed number of issues:

• Fixed unredacted text being displayed in log
  
• Fixed slight text clipping on the dialogue box edges
  
• Fixed slight text jumping on new line appearing
  
• Fixed some resolution issues on wide monitors
  
• Various fixed instances of the text not being attached to the proper character/narrator
  
• Some audio fixes and improvements
  

Hello dear Coteries of New York players!

We have prepared a new version of the game (1.0.04), which fixes some bugs, but also adds support of the 2560 x 1440 resolution.

Here's the short list of changes and fixes:

First of all, we'd like to thank everyone, who decided to buy the game. Thank you for your trust, your continuous support, kind words and great pieces of advice. A game means nothing without a community and we feel that we really found a lot of new friends, who share our love and passion for Vampire: The Masquerade.

We're humbled by all positive reviews and comments, we appreciate many of you stood for Coteries of New York in many discussions, which started since the release. Still, it would be unfair to say that everything went smoothly and everyone's happy.

Even though we're pleased with the number of copies sold, it has never been our goal to simply earn some money and forget about all else. We're Vampire: The Masquerade tabletop RPG players for many years and many of us - members of the development team - are proud members of the VtM community in Poland. We treat all of you as fellow Vampire fans, we don't see our relation as a seller-customer deal. We want to build a bond, based on the same positive emotions, known to everyone who experienced Vampire: The Masquerade game and fell in love with the setting and mood.

Therefore our goal is to be 100% transparent in communicating things and mixed user score indicates that we failed some part of the community we respect most deeply. We believe you deserve an explanation, when it comes to some stuff that you criticize and you have every right to express your negative opinions. We've been reading through all the reviews and the whole feedback you sent us since launch yesterday. Your opinion is extremely important to us, and we noticed that there are still some bugs, which have a negative impact on your satisfaction while playing Coteries of New York.

Hence, we immediately rushed to build a patch, which eliminates some of these bugs and now we're happy to inform that the game has been updated and certain bugs have been erased. Here's the list:

Finally, this day has come and Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York has launched!

First of all, we'd like to thank every member of our community - we were amazed by the scope of interest, so many questions and kind words we read during the last couple of months since the Steam page went live.

We also want to thank Paradox and White Wolf Publishing veterans, without whom Coteries of New York would never happen. Although we self-publish the game, Paradox, who is the license holder, helped us much more we could even dream of and hours of conversations with White Wolf Publishing writers and editors, as well as social media ninjas were absolutely priceless - thanks to the community and the dedicated team of helpers on the Paradox side the development process was going smoothly, even though no development process is totally free of setbacks, delays and... surprises.

Still, the game is ready and available to all players, who use Windows. We may add Linux and Mac OS support after the launch and we will keep you updated! The development of the game has ended, but our support does not. We have some things planned for the next months, including the console release (PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch) in Q1 2020. As trailer only shows a basic of the game it is important to remember that Coteries of New York is a narrative game (much as original pen and paper Vampire: The Masquerade game) presented in the Visual Novel art style but also includes several game mechanics such as quests map hub, hunger and clan disciplines.

We just returned from amazing PDXCon 2019 in Berlin, and we have a great info to share with you!

Vampire: The Masquerade Coteries of New York will be released for PC (Windows, Linux, Mac OS) on December 4th 2019. The game will be available on Steam, GOG.com (DRM-free version) and globally through other digital outlets. The Nintendo Switch version of the game will be released in Q1 2020.

But thats not all! Currently we are actively exploring options for bringing the game to PS4 and Xbox One consoles. We got a lot of requests for releasing the game on those major platforms and we want to make it happen if possible.



Last weekend Draw Distance attended PDXCON 2019 in Berlin where we presented a hands on demo of Vampire: The Masquerade Coteries of New York! For two days players were able to play Coteries demo and we are happy to inform that the game got very positive feedback. As Coteries of New York release date comes closer and closer, we are proud to present our game's Key Art. It represents Sophie Langley - a vampire from the Toreador clan, whose ambitions are an important part of the game's plot. But that is not all!

Here at Draw Distance, were longingly staring at the blue skies outside our windows as were entering the final phases of development of Vampire: The Masquerade Coteries of New York, our upcoming narrative-focused, fully licensed game set in the globally renowned universe of Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition.

As time passes, we unveil more and more information about Coteries of New York. In our last press release, published by many media outlets around the world, we shared tons of data regarding the gameplay, mechanics and story.

Heres the tl;dr list of key information we shared about Coteries of New York:

• Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York presents the conflict between two vampiric factions: the traditionalist Camarilla and the fiercely independent Anarchs in New York

• While the game is primarily text-driven and story oriented, several mechanics reflect the dark truths of being one of the Kindred.
  
• Hunger is used to indicate the constant need for blood that vampires must deal with nightly. Characters have the opportunity to hunt for blood during quests. Ignoring this need leads to warnings in the games fiction, and if disregarded for too long, to consequences that include succumbing to the Beast
  
• Humanity is a measure of how moral and rooted in humanistic principles the character is. This rating is used by the game to modify the results of choices in quests, offer additional story choices, or even lock certain choices out.
  
• Finally, the Masquerade rating tracks how well the character blends in with mortal society. Staying inconspicuous and hidden from prying eyes is even more important for vampires than ever, due to the existence of the so-called Second Inquisition, a clandestine hunt for vampires concealed within global government agencies. Secrecy and not flaunting your supernatural powers in the sight of mortals is of utmost importance.
