Hey all, I hope you are well. I have plenty of news to announce regarding the recent DLC giveaway promotion, the imminent launch of my Patreon, future content updates, and more! However, I'm going to wait until my next post to elaborate further on those topics. For now, I'd just like to tell you that Potion Commotion has had a new update. It is small, and mostly just contains a few bug fixes and quality of life improvements. Here is a list of changes in Version 1.2.4: Game Improvements -Added 35 new Loading Messages (Mostly jokes) -Upgraded to a newer version of Unity (2020.3.26f1) -Increased Inventory Capacity when Prestiging so that you will always be able to make an Upgraded Potion regardless of its Ingredient Requirements. -Revamped the 'Socials' Page and Added the Official NerdyBird Studios Instagram to it. -Altered Discord Link(s) to the new Discord Server -Reduced 'For the Longest Time' Achievement requirements to 24 hours for Silver, and 72 hours for Gold. -Added Colour to Text Buttons as Indicators on the Daily Reward UI -Very slightly enlarged the Size of Wogglebogg's House and made some minor furniture readjustments Bug Fixes -Fixed an audio clip from the Barrell of Laughs that accidentally played for 19 Seconds -Corrected 3 Olga Subtitles which were shown at the wrong time -Fixed an issue where the Ultimate Potion Tab Info Text would not Update -Fixed a bug where the City and Wardrobe Buttons would be interactable while a Menu was still in use -Fixed an Incorrect Textbox Message when Trying to Expand Land while Level is too low -If you increase your Prestige Level from a Monthly Reward, your Inventory capacity will now increase at the same time, without the need to reboot your game. Thank you for your continued support, I appreciate it greatly. Be sure to let me know if you encounter any issues. I always welcome feedback and suggestions too. Join the new Discord. Stay awesome you guys! Kind regards, Luke of NerdyBird Studios.

Potion Commotion's first major content update is now LIVE, bringing a whole host of new features to explore, and friendly faces to meet on the brand new Eldershire City Street!!
So, come on down to join the fun, and check out what cool new things you can find!
And that's not all, there's been a plethora of new mechanics, improvements, and bug fixes to the game, making the whole experience even more epic!!
Let's get down to the details...
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1438020/Potion_Commotion_Fanbook/ Today marks the day that the first of many planned DLC releases for Potion Commotion, has been launched. The Potion Commotion Digital Fanbook is a fun, little project that I've been working on recently, showcasing a bunch of PoCo related content, such as character profiles, game art, information about the game's development, commentary, trivia, and even a bonus Puzzle page that the player could print out and solve. It has been written and designed by myself, the developer, with some assistance (and grammar checking) from my awesome family! It comes in a PDF format, which can be opened with most browsers. I hope this will be a cool surprise for fans of the game, as this will feature new lore, detailed character backgrounds, as well as explain Potion Commotion's journey and what ideas were initially intended. Also, it's a nice little way to help me out financially, for future projects and updates, which is always immensely appreciated, as I'm a Solo Dev. Speaking of updates, I am planning several big expansions to the Potion Commotion universe, new characters, potions, locations, and even costumes are all on the way!! And don't forget the brand new puns and jokes!! So stay tuned because it won't be too long before more announcements are on the way. I expect the first of which to be out before the end of 2020. To celebrate this release, PoCo, its Soundtrack, and the newly-available Fanbook are all currently 50% off for 14 days. Don't miss out! Thank you so much for reading this, and I hope you all are doing alright and keeping well during this pandemic. Stay strong, and in the words of Wogglebogg, "Happy Potion Making everybody!!" - Luke of NerdyBird Studios To access a purchased Fanbook, go to Library > Potion Commotion > Manage > Browse Local Files > Potion Commotion Fanbook.pdf Discord: https://discord.gg/ByNsGUC
Hello once again folks, I hope youre all doing well. Ive been keeping track of your feedback for Potion Commotion and after working on some updates, Version 1.0.2 is now ready to go. Thank you all for your continued support, I appreciate each and every one of you. Heres what has changed in V 1.0.2: Improvements - Upgraded to the latest version of Unity (2019.3.13f1) - Altered the Prestige Shop and Info Screen Icon - Added a TextBox message and an audio alert when you try to purchase a Prestige with insufficient funds. - Adjusted Prestige and Restart confirmation Text and Button position. - Removed the Prestige Upgrade Button function as it was potentially confusing to some. - Lowered the requirement of Upgrader Gold from 105 Upgrades, to 100. - Making a Potion that is different from the previous, now provides a 20% Coin Boost from Level 15 rather than 10%. - Special Helper hiring costs have been reduced slightly. - Female Goblins now appear from Level 5 rather than Level 4. - The Somebody Once Told Me achievement can now also be triggered by having All Star Trees in the first four Trees Spaces on the Left, or the first four Tree Spaces on the Right. - The Upgrades Made stat no longer resets upon a Prestige or Restart - Corrected a spelling mistake of the word Chillies - Altered a Beta Tester Credit. Bug Fixes - Fixed a Bug that may have been causing collected daily bonuses to not count towards the Seven Days a Week achievement if the game had been running overnight. - The Female Goblins no longer steal 0 Elixir on occasions. - Removed an error where the Credits started from the wrong position after reopening them from the room you didnt initially enable them. - Prestige cost is now fixed at 1,000,000 Coins whereas it wasn't being set properly before. News - I am also happy to tell you that Ive created all the Trading Card Assets for Potion Commotion, and will be releasing them as soon as Steam decide this game is eligible for Trading Cards. (This, unfortunately, is out of our control so we cant say when we will be allowed) - I am potentially looking at releasing Potion Commotion onto Linux in the future, so I'm on the hunt for Linux Testers. Please contact me (preferably through Discord) if you are interested or know someone who might be. Thanks for checking out this post everyone, and dont forget that youre always welcome to get in touch, I love interacting with you all. Hello there everybody, Were so excited to finally present to you, Potion Commotion! This project has been in the making for over a year now and while this is the first game from NerdyBird Studios, we have plenty in store for the future, so watch this space! Thank you to everyone involved in helping this project come to fruition, and to all who have supported Potion Commotion and have remained patient for its release. We hope the wait was worthwhile! We are a little bit late to the party, as our original intended release date was March 31st, however, unforeseen delays occurred due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Speaking of which, we want to wish our best to everyone in these difficult times and hope that our game might bring some joy during such unprecedented circumstances. While we have initially launched only on Windows, we do have builds for Linux and Mac, and are weighing up our options on releasing onto those platforms in the future. If youd like to stay up to date with Potion Commotion behind the scenes, then the best place would be the Official Discord, where Luke, the developer, posts regularly. https://discord.gg/ByNsGUC Thank you so so much for following and supporting Potion Commotion, we truly hope you enjoy the joys of Wizardry with Wogglebogg and Co. You are appreciated and I hope you tell your friends, your family, your cat, your dog, your turtle and whoever else would love to hear about our new game! Signing off for now, on the first of (hopefully) many posts, Keep safe and happy Potion Making - Luke of NerdyBird Studios. :)
