Hi-Lights of the unspecified time period + next CrossWeek!

Hello everyball! It's time for more Hi-Lights that we can't call "weekly" with a straight face anymore. Sorry! But at least we are closing in towards the next big release, weeee~! And there's also another special announcement further down! Work towards release 0.8 is going steady.
There's more Jungle. With cute shockingly cute kittens! They just want the cuddles! D:
And surprisingly cooperative blobs. Well, with each other, of course.
Work on the new dungeon also continues. You might be surprised, but it has a shock theme!
Only complete with new puzzle-elements! What mysterious function could this have???
Such idyllic peace. Nothing should go wrong here...
Speaking of things going wrong: The new batch of sidequests for Bergen Village has recently been finished! The most recent one might involve goats and explosions, I'm not entirely sure, the plot is very complicated. And that's it for the news about the game itself. We did make a lot of progress but sadly we once again forgot to do our regular update. We are very sorry for that, but we are certain that release 0.8 (coming out around the end of September!) will make it up to you! And now for our special announcement...

CrossWeek approaches!

Tomorrow a special period of time will once again begin. A time where many of those radical fishes from around Germany will swim to the promised city of Hannover, to do game development. This is a sacred time, that of course is called: CrossWeek! From tomorrow the 30th of August till the 10th of September, many of our team will have another CrossWeek-meetup to work full-time on CrossCode to get a lot of things ready for 0.8! And maybe also have some unrelated fun, if time and work ethic allows! I hope you are looking forward to the results! There will definitely be another update in the next time! Until we write again!

This retro-inspired 2D Action RPG might outright surprise you. CrossCode combines 16-bit SNES-style graphics with butter-smooth physics, a fast-paced combat system, and engaging puzzle mechanics, served with a gripping sci-fi story.

Take the best out of two popular genres, find a good balance between them and make a great game. That’s what CrossCode does. And it works pretty well. You get the puzzles of Zelda-esque dungeons and are rewarded with the great variety of equipment you know and love from RPGs. During the fast-paced battles you will use the tools you find on your journey to reveal and exploit the enemies' weaknesses and at the same time will be able to choose equipment and skills for a more in-depth approach in fighting your enemies.
