Hey pilots! Changelog for v. 0.4.293
- PVP rank formula is now 1 + log10 (games) with rounding. That means you'll get Rank 1 (Legionary) after first battle, rank 2 (Duplicarius) after 10 battles and so on
- players with the Duplicarius rank and above can enter the FFA battle
- reduced radius of missile detonation by 20%
- bots on the BG are added with 10 sec delay
- the Redeemer machine gun is slightly weakened
- additional check to avoid multiple death messages
- Critical Shot talent of Sniper class consumes the entire shield, requires 100 shield points to activate and guaranteed to crit
- Strobe talent in the Lasers tree requires a 15/30/45 shield depending on the rank
- carrying the Artifact slows down you ship by 25%

Project Amalthea: Battlegrounds is a PVP part as a separate game of a Project Amalthea.
Each weapon category bears it's own unique mechanics and combat tactics:

Different types of weapons allows you either to do mass damage, penetrate a shield or lay a trap.Each weapon category bears it's own unique mechanics and combat tactics:
- Rockets - high damage explosives
- Torpedoes - guided missiles
- Mines - explosive, magnetic and shrapnel damage traps
- Lasers - beam weapons with 100% shield penetration
- Machine guns - kinetic weapons with extra damage to unshielded targets
- Drones - autonomous ships with repairing, damage or hacking functions
