Early Access release is now January 23rd, 2020. We completed all Phase 1 testing in a more limited closed alpha, and feel confident in an earlier release schedule.
This means that the game you'll get to play in January will be much more finished than we had originally planned! The AI combat, boss fights, dungeon map generation, vanity items, and user interface came together more easily than we thought it would.
Instead of investing several weeks into preparing and deploying a public Early Access "alpha test," it makes more sense to launch a robust product in January that will be closer to a finished game. That extra time can be spent preparing maps, fixing bugs, and adding new monsters and weapons.
