Major update 1.1

Hello ! I'm very happy to announce the update 1.1 for Energy Island Corp ! Here is a summary of what changed :

  • Two new campaign scenario
  • Five new buildings
  • Quality of life
  • Bugfixings
  • Translation in french
  • A lot of proofreading

Small update 1.0.4

Hello ! New small patch with little fixes :

  • Money panel is larger so there is no overlap even in late games (Thanks to 5 parrots in a trenchcoat)
  • Some corrections in texts / fix typos
  • Build process : building image is now centered on cursor while dragging it to better view where it'll be placed
  • Bugfix when scrolling with keyboard while dragging a building
  • Sound volume is at 50% by default
  • Deleted an empty tooltip in City tab
  • Fix a bug so the top bar is only displayed during the day (it was displayed in preparation phase, when you just built a building)
  • The option menu can be opened with Escape in the game and can be closed with escape in the game and in the main menu
  • The cursor is changed when hovering a disabled button so it's more obvious it's disabled

Small update 1.0.3

Hello ! New small patch :

  • You can use keyboard to scroll the map (WASD, ZQSD or arrows) (Thanks to me_maikey)
  • Bugfix on priority in building producing electricty (was not working in some setup) (Thanks to me_maikey and robodinosaur3)
  • Bugfix on battery max power with upgrades (and slightly raised the price for balancing)
  • Enhanced the battery production curve when it's almost discharged (Instead of cutting instantly, the power will decrease until there is no power stored)
  • Don't show arrows when there is only one upgrade possible on the building UI (Thanks to me_maikey)
  • Better display of the max number of upgrades for Solar Panel and tech houses (don't display a max to 5 when you can't do more than 3 upgrades) (Thanks to me_maikey)
  • Updated the main library (Phaser 3) and made a fix for a crash. This is a bug I saw only in my debug setup, but maybe it was happening in production.

Hello ! Here is a new small update to fix some bugs : * Fixed the bug with "all campaign finished" achievement that didn't activate. If you finished the campaign, it should activate during the next launch. (Thanks to me_maikey) * Fixed a typo on upgrade for some buildings, it was written kWh instead of kW. (Thanks to RouqueMoute) * Some Enhancement in the performances on late games during the day (it was freezing every 10 ingame minutes on some heavy map for me) I'm really sorry for the annoying bugs in the game. Small update 1.0.1

Hello everyone ! I just pushed a small update : * Fixed a bug on Factories that didn't produce steel on level 6 (and probably 2 and 4) * Changed "kw" to "kW" and "kwh" to "kWh" because it's the correct way to name them * Pause when opening the ingame menu Thanks to me_maikey and 5 parrots in a trenchcoat for their feedbacks ! I'm working on the next update (end of the year I hope) to log crashs, some of you reported complete freeze of the game (it seems to happens at least sometime in sandbox when selecting factory during the day ?) but I can't reproduce them, logging will help me to debug.   • In Electric City Manager, you'll manage an electric grid on small islands. When you arrive on an island, there is only few inhabitants and no electric facilities.
    It's your job to build a robust electric grid which can support the development of the island in every domain: tourism, industry, residential, health, ...

    Every day starts with a preparation phase. You can construct new buildings, buy raw materials and manage different aspect of your grid.
    When you're ready, the clock starts and you can see in real time, minute by minute the electricity quantity you produced and the electricity being consumed by the city.

    It's important to produce enough electricity to match the demand and avoid power outage. On the other side, producing too much electricity will damage all your electric grid and waste a lot of money.

    • Make your own energy mix: Solar panels only produce when sun is up, oil generators are expensive to run, nuclear plant can't adapt their production, ... Each primary energy has its own characteristics, you must mix them to find the better balance.
    • Manage raw materials supply: Some buildings need resources (oil, coal, ...) to run. You must buy them at best price, and build infrastructure to store them.
    • Watch electricity production / consumption: Managing an electric grid is hard. Electricity is hard to store, consumption vary between consumption peaks and low demands periods. Adapt yourself and manage your grid with information you get from the production / consumption chart.
