This is a group of events familiar to those of you who played Atom and Trudograd during festive seasons, and it will add festivals to the game world! On specific days, the different peoples of Nova Drakonia will celebrate various holidaysboth historical and religious:
Herbal Eve, with its traditions of leaping over bonfires and eating special cheese with caraway seeds; the ritualistic burning of the effigy of Alb the Fry, the evil warlock who long ago almost destroyed the first Empire; or eret Day, when villagers dress as evil spirits and roam from house to house singing obscene songs and demanding treats.

We are glad to announce that v.1.04 content update has finally been completed.
In this version, we paid the utmost attention to the quality of life updates we decided upon in earlier community posts.
Now you can finally use your own picture files to create portraits for your character, and even customize their appearance in-game.
Also Trudograd now supports the ATOM Cloud save transfer system, using which you can not only save progress between different versions of the game on different devices, but also transfer a character from the original ATOM RPG to Trudograd, using our cloud server instead of an actual save file.
Based on your suggestions, we introduced the mechanic of comparing equipment, expanded the set of icons for aimed shots, and of course added several new characters, quests and locations to the game.
There is still a lot of work ahead of us, for example, the creation of a ModKit, but for now we hope that you will appreciate the work we have done so far, and get enough pleasant impressions from returning to the snow-covered streets of Trudograd :)

Greetings, friends! We have been on full alert ever since publishing the last major update, constantly sorting through your feedback and fixing the issues you have stumbled upon. The first result of this is patch v0.9.1 which brings the following additions, changes and fixes into the game:

As promised, today we present to you the fifth major content update for ATOM RPG: Trudograd.
In accordance with the previously published roadmap, v.0.9 gives you the ability to finish the main storyline and thus fully complete the game. Since save files will only be wiped when version 1.0 is released in autumn, you can complete your current playthrough now and see what the finale holds, without the need to start a new game.
Nevertheless, we really want to draw your attention to the fact that v.0.9 is far from the end of development, its still Early Access. By the time of the official release planned for autumn, the entire game, including the main storyline, will receive new editorial changes, sounds, 2D design elements, improvements to combat balance and much more. Not to mention the side content that will also be added to the rest of the game before the final release.
You can play and finish the game right now for curiositys sake and to see the ending, but to those of you who would like to avoid end-game spoilers and wish to enjoy the finalized, carefully crafted release version of the game, we recommend you wait for version 1.0 instead and take a bit of rest from Trudograd for the time being.
Now, some more details about the current update v.0.9: The completion of the main storyline entailed the appearance of new characters, quests, text adventures and locations, such as: Trudograd Dam, the Seventh Heaven district, the Razdor village. And, of course, we have not forgotten the existing locations, adding new quests and characters to them as well.

Today we would like to introduce you to ATOM RPG: Trudograds 4th content update!
We have added unique missions for both factions, the police and the revolutionaries; we have added new side quests and characters to already existing locations; as well as new maps and even secrets.
Based on your feedback, we are also continuing to work on combat mechanics. For example, depending on the type of encounter, your opponents will now coordinate their actions more often, creating problems for the player character not only using their overwhelming numbers or high skills and stats, but also through the ability to work in teams.
In addition, we have revised the difficulty of some story-related battles and we hope that this will have a positive impact on the gaming experience of our community.
Also, we want to show you the ballistics mechanics which are currently under development and were announced earlier. The main idea of this mechanic is that bullets and projectiles fired from firearms and crossbows can now pierce through not only the first target, but also the one behind it.
For us, this mechanic is a big step forward, so we really want to get your opinion on this innovation. And don't forget that your opponents can do everything you can! ;)

Since the last update, we have released a fair few patches and continued actively working on the new batch of content. Together with that, were trying to always be there to read your amazing feedback and cooperate on the features, fixes and changes you recommend.
All in all, we have come a very long way since the start of the Early Access, and right now were giving it our all to improve the already made parts of the game, and add new ones as the plot demands it.
Seeing how this is a very hard process thats also very difficult to track, we decided to share our Roadmap with you, so that you always be able to see where were at in the development process.
This roadmap contains general information about the work we have already done, as well as about the features and content were planning for the release. It doesnt include post-release support, because were never setting an expiration date on that part of development, as some of you already know.

Well start off with a big content update.
Afterwards, well continue adding to the game, focusing more and more on the main plot line. New characters will appear in the Outskirts, Grey Corner, Factory, Mikhalychs Tavern, Police, Docks, Kolotushkin Str. Plus, were already adding the first people for the upper tier of the city.
April will also be a month we rebalance some of the weapons and skills; well also continue working on visuals and soundscape.
May-June
All of our teams strength will be used to finalize the main story line and the mechanics that are already in the game. Well then work on some of the yet unintroduced mechanics you asked us for, and add to some special locations were not willing to spoil just yet :)
After the big update planned for this time period, you will finally be able to finish the game!
The development process wont stop there, however, since its not all about the main plot.
July
After finishing the main storyline in all of its forms, we will expand the roster of side quests and plot unrelated locations. Well set to finalize the Lighthouse, the Caves, the new bunker and well add to the locations that already exist.
August
Random encounters and adventure maps will receive new additions in this part of the work process. Well also add a few special side quest lines and characters to the upper and lower tier locations.
September
This month will be used to stabilize and finalize the game before release. Its the last month for finishing all major additions to the game, making the last icons, objects, sets of armor, loading screens, etc. Well also finalize the trade and combat balance.
IMPORTANT: Before the release hits, well have to wipe the old save files, to ensure the correct compatibility between the new and old content, as well as optimize the games performance.
We wish to deeply apologize for postponing the release. Our communal wish to make Trudograd a really great game brought us before new quality standards, which unfortunately ask for more resources, finances, and most importantly - time.
Although this was not an easy decision to make, we dont want to cut the game Trudograd became and wish to tell its story to the fullest. We value your support and understanding over all else. Thank you for being with us.

While not continuing the main plot, Update 0.8 has brought new side missions and several dozens of new characters to meet and work for, as well as many fixes to most mechanics.
You will be able to finish the previously unfinished side-quests, visit a pre-war military training installation, upgrade your special armor with some top-secret tech, or rest a while near the newly revamped Peremech Kiosk!

Soon this year will end. And what a year it was. We had our share of grief, like most. Yet it was also quite productive for our games. Here, we would like to share with you a small summary of everything we managed to do, as well as give you a brief look into our teams future goals.
The main achievement of 2020 for us is undoubtedly the launch of ATOM RPG: Trudograd into Early Access. The game, which was planned as a small add-on to the original quickly grew due to your fair criticism, ideas and recommendations.
Due to your feedback, a lot of new mechanics were added to the game, such as area of effect attacks in melee, new throwing weapon features, special armor abilities.
We made new animations, widened the initially planned locations, made new side quests, improved on the games graphics and soundscape.
Of course these new features also extended Trudograds estimated time of arrival, since it is now a much more serious project than planned. But we are entirely sure the wait will be worth it.
Apart from that, in 2020 we continued improving our first game ATOM RPG. Listening to your wishes, we ported it to a wide variety of platforms like iOS, Android and Nintendo Switch.
We also continued our work on the original Steam version of the game, eradicating new bugs you helped us find, improving on compatibility with weaker computers, and most importantly adding new translations. It is thanks to volunteers from our community that the game has received French, Spanish, Chinese and Italian translations, with several more in the beta stage and even more to come!
Now we would like to share our plans for 2021.
First of all, we would like to mention Trudograd. The development of this game is our number one priority and it wont even stop for Winter holidays. In the upcoming months we will show off new interesting locations and will add new characters and quests to those areas that already exist.
In the major updates that will precede Trudograds launch, you will get to see new regions outside the city walls, with their own unique visuals, random encounters and enemies.
You will visit Trudograds Hydro-Electric Plant which produces power for the city, as well as a desolate village not yet swallowed by the metropolis.
You will also be able to venture up onto the second tier of Trudograd to see how the richer people live. You will even get to reach Seventh Heaven and see the authorities of the metropolis!
Our other plans include:
Porting ATOM RPG for XBOX and PlayStation consoles, just like some of you always wanted us to do.
Making Bombagun, a mini-game some of you enjoyed in Trudograd into a standalone free app for iOS and Android.
Launching the full version of Trudograd and actively supporting it.
There is another big project planned for 2021, but its too early to share any details about it. As soon as design documents and first batches of concept art are ready, however, we will show and tell of everything we have conceived in this regard, and we really hope that you are going to like it! :)

Today we wanted to make several announcements.
Firstly, we are very happy that the reception of last week's update was so positive.
But thanks to some of your more critical feedback we also see what we can do better moving forward. So keep on sending us your ideas. This is the fuel that keeps us going!
We will try to implement some of the smaller suggestions in the next patch, but the bigger ones will have to wait for the next huge update.
By the way, we already started working on it and are ready to shed a little bit of light on the new content that will be available in it.
You will be able to visit the upper (or rather rooftop) city, a place that is different from the lower slums not only in living standards, but also quests and encounters.
Also, special armour and weapons will get new enchantments. As well as a new quest for those who bought the finest armor in all of Trudograd.
Moreover, we want to add a couple of improvements to the UI. For example: write the name of the active object if you press ALT, add some features to the global map, etc.
It will be very interesting to hear your opinion when we will present you with those new features.

At the moment, Atom RPG: Trudograd has been in Early Access for six months, but during this time it has outgrow our initial plan for a small story expansion. Now its shaping out to be a real game with many new characters and quests, made with a new level of quality.
Of course, this transformation required significantly more time than we originally planned for, but we hope that it will pay off in the most important thing - creating the kind of game that you expect from us!
We plan to release the full game in the beginning of 2021. Hopefully not even reaching a year in Early Access :)

Today were launching another huge update for ATOM RPG: Trudograd Early Access.
We have spent several months constantly working on it and we have great hope that you will feel like the wait was worth it!
After updating the game, you will be able to continue the previously unavailable main quest branches; you will get to meet new characters, most of which will have side quests for you; you will be able to challenge new bloodthirsty enemies on several new random encounter maps as well as in a huge new dungeon, and generally do many, many more new things.
The most awaited of which is the ability to finally acquire and check out the new suit of Power Armor, which is attached to a unique quest.

Work on the next big update for the Early Access is going as planned, thats why we decided its high time we announce some of our work to prepare you for what awaits in the future ;)
First off, new plot related missions are being prepared to take you to new locations and make you meet exciting new characters. New random encounters are also being added to the city map.
Old locations are getting new life. The last bit is especially true for the city docks area. There will be also plenty of new sidequests for those who want to take a break from the plot!
The characters will be revamped to new graphics standards with much more distinct facial features, and were not talking about portraits. The new facial detalization system is almost implemented into the game.
This new feature along with new animations will surely set the bar higher for Trudograd graphics-wise.
We really hope that these new visuals will be to your liking, and wed love to hear your critiques on this matter.
The combat system was perfected with new features and tweaks to balance, inspired by you, our amazing community. Combat is still a work in progress, though, so some of it might change in an update or two.
And of course, this update will be the first one ever to feature the On the other hand, lets not ruin the surprise ;)

This version of Early Access features a lot of additions inspired by your amazing feedback. We added new characters, new weapons, items, animations, locations, quests and random encounter maps.
The combat system was reworked thanks to your suggestions, though some changes are not final. We have reworked large parts of the skill system, too!
We also added effective finishing moves with brutal animations. The traders in the game now have their unique preferences. Two faction based weapon traders were also added.
A lot of work is still ahead of us, but as long as you continue helping us out with your ideas and critique, well push through.
As always, a content patch is soon to follow, and the next big update will come out this Autumn. We will announce everything closer to the release date.

Today we would like to share some information about the upcoming update for ATOM RPG: Trudograd, which will be published in the near future!
In the upcoming update, you will get to visit new locations -including the city port and a giant ship in the open sea- with their unique characters, quests and merchants, as well as find new additions to locations you already visited in the current version of the game.
The plot will be expanded with lots of new adventures, in which you will be offered a role of an action movie hero, get to meet an entirely new faction of characters, and get sent into a den of vile cultists!
Also, you will now be able to join the city police. Unless you completed all three of the revolutionary missions, you will be able to ditch your comrades and join the force (works the other way around as well).
The two-handed weapons will be finally available in the upcoming update! This unique weapon type not only has its own rules for ignoring armour and dealing critical damage, but also comes with its own mechanics.
After carefully examining the feedback from our players we also made some adjustments to the abilities. We fixed problems with the armour and evasion bonuses, improved the mechanics that give you or your enemy's critical conditions and many, many more.
Naturally, the update will also feature new improvements, bug-fixes, animations, vignette quests, and many more goodies.

Were very happy to share some good news with you! After todays update Atom RPG: Trudograd will finally be available on Mac and Linux!
Also this patch contains a lot of fixes and improvements to the game. We added some changes to the combat system, changed the character import and creation screens, improved AI behavior, and more.
Due to popular demand, we also added a new mechant to the game. He can be found on the global map.

Today, after a half year of work, we are glad to present you with Atom RPG: Trudograd, our newest game published for Early Access!
Trudograd is a story in which your adventures in the Central Wastes continue after two years. In it, you will venture into a city that survived the war, to uncover its secrets in a search for a piece of pre-war technology that might just change the world forever.
You will be able to play the game by creating a new character which will be level 15 from the start of the game, to represent that youre no longer playing as a cadet, but as a major of ATOM. Or, you can transfer a save file made after beating ATOM RPGs final boss and continue playing as your old ATOM RPG character. The choice is yours!
We are publishing to Early Access to learn all of your wishes, critiques, ideas and general feedback on the early stages of development with a goal to implement the best ones, making Trudograd a community effort created by players for players. It worked amazingly well last time, and we hope to repeat that success.
From the get go, Early Access is going to feature updated graphics, updated roleplaying system (WIP), several large locations, dozens of quests, a hundred unique characters, new mini game, new quest format for some quests and many more interesting additions.
This version of the game will be updated every few months, with the final release sometime later this year.

Today we are finally ready to name the release date of our next game. Atom RPG: Trudograd is coming out into Early Access on May 11th 2020.
Previously, Early Access became the most important tool in our arsenal. Because of your feedback, advice and general ideas, Atom RPG became a game many enjoyed. From bug fixing, to new details, weapons, quests and even visual solutions like the isometric camera mode, we owe it all to you, the players.
We hope that you will contribute your feedback this time around as well. Only our cooperation with you can make Trudograd a truly great experience.
Though there is a lot of work ahead of us, this time the first Early Access version will be much more developed than the last. It will feature five large locations, 100+ characters, several dozens of quests, including the starting ones of the central plot line, new weapons, new items, new abilities and a new type of visual quests.
We will also add updates every few months, so there will be more for you to explore.
We really hope that you will enjoy what we prepared for you. See you on May 11th!
