- Tree-harvesting reworked: lumber-mills now collect trees from an area of 3x3 tiles; trees grow back after some time
- Iron mining reworked: most iron sources have been replaced by iron veins providing infinite supply of iron. They can be harvested by hand or machinery
- New "Boring Boris" Drill model added
- New type of splitter: Cat Sorter allows splitting cat lines by cat types
- An additional longer version of manipulator is added; updated looks for both versions
- 2 new buildings: Claw Sharpener Crafter and Rope Crafter
- A new hybrid map viewing mode - for easier orientation between surface and underground levels
- A new mysterious type of tree can be found on Mars. The Turing Tree is not only beautiful, it multiplies by rules of Conway's Game of Life
