KOTOVOD Worker #19: We Need More Data

An average KOTOVOD engineer is known to be capable of fixing a synchrophasotron with a pen and some duct tape. These kind of skills are very vital, since the Union-era equipment on KOTOVOD sometimes used to break even before it was put into production. However, after making some careful calculations, the Factory administration decided that wasting resources of creative minds on fixing holes must come to an end. Which is why they have upgraded KOTOVOD's operational systems. Now they're capable of tracking sales data in real time, allowing engineers to save time on staring at the numbers for hours. And that's not just it! A set of comfort-improving measures was taken, and according to our in-house non-anonymous mandatory survey, over 147% of engineers are completely satisfied with their working experience.

Version 0.7.13 Released

Event notification system: the game now informs the player of important events, such as new cats attending the factory or new kinds of goods in high demand
Lumber Mill is now animated
New cat features added
Improved starting map
Sphinx is now dug up instantly, along with the Lab
When gathering multiple resources from the map at once, the kinds of resources made more distinguishable
Added a tip for buildings that can be rotated
Crafting window can now be opened separately (use 'C' button)
In-game wiki can now be accessed only after digging up the monument
New pipette tool: press 'Q' to instantly pick a selected building, if you have it crafted
Entrances and exits from the buildings are now displayed in different colors
Player character can move between the buildings placed next to each other
Items can be dragged between windows
Items from the building panel can also be dragged
Minor UI/UX improvements
Bug fixes
Optimization, mainly of save loading time: it now happens twice as faster in certain cases

Learning factory is an automation sim in which you will learn how machine learning works and design your own self-sustaining factory.

It's all part of perhaps the most important quest: trying to understand what your cat REALLY wants. Do you want that door opened? Or closed? Understanding such complicated creatures cannot be done without analyzing huge amounts of data and building a neural network. And there's just a place to go for all that.

Welcome to what once was the largest research site of cat behavior in the world: the now-defunct KOTOVOD Learning Factory. It was built to process the insane amount of data about cats and their habits. The project was shut down many years ago and now it's up to you to bring the mighty KOTOVOD back to its former glory
