Global Progression Scale demonstrates what needs to be done as we keep moving towards singularity! It is marked with milestones, which also come with bonuses for Learning Factory performance. Global Progression Scale

New story chapters (a.k.a. comics) are now unlocked via achieving certain milestones on the scale (to be found in the Monument). Its main features:
Major milestones: unlocked mainly by successfully serving cats
Minor milestones: unlocked mainly by researching stuff on the Research Tree
Unlocking milestones grants minor cumulative multipliers for various Factory mechanics: at this time, it's research performance and researcher parameters, and Hype levels. More unlock bonuses will be added in the future
Some major milestones unlock additional gameplay mechanics (see below)
Certain milestone unlock will let cat researchers reach out to you with their CVs. If your Dormitory is already full, you can stop accepting applications in the Tavern
After certain milestone unlock, regularization will be applied to linear and polynomial models, which will slightly increase their performance
Every milestone unlocked will visually change the Monument looks (graphics in this version are not final though)
Deposit mechanics becomes available after reaching the first milestone

Gameplay

(community suggestion) pressing 'backspace' or 'delete' on the buildings from your toolbar lets you dismantle them and get up to 50% resources back
Researcher generating algorithm has been tuned to make researcher perks more diverse and frequent to appear

Feedback button is now present in the main menu as well

UI improvements
Cat Stores and Data Storages now display whether a cat invited a friend or dissatisfied a friend as a result of a deal
Upon having started learning, ML models are marked with a special alert sign that signifies that said models are not yet trained to convergence, and they can't be automatically connected to Stores until they converge. This alert disappears after a certain amount of training epochs
Upon opening an ML building, player can see whether there are better trained ML models, connected to the same network
If an ML model is automatically switched to a higher tier model, the former model will be halted as chances of it to work more effective are close to 0

Learning factory is an automation sim in which you will learn how machine learning works and design your own self-sustaining factory.

It's all part of perhaps the most important quest: trying to understand what your cat REALLY wants. Do you want that door opened? Or closed? Understanding such complicated creatures cannot be done without analyzing huge amounts of data and building a neural network. And there's just a place to go for all that.

Welcome to what once was the largest research site of cat behavior in the world: the now-defunct KOTOVOD Learning Factory. It was built to process the insane amount of data about cats and their habits. The project was shut down many years ago and now it's up to you to bring the mighty KOTOVOD back to its former glory
