
It's been more than 2 years since Learning Factory was released in Early Access, and we're eternally grateful to the players, who joined us way back in 2021 and 2022! This week's update comes with a couple of features, that will definitely help experienced engineers rethink their logistics and boost their factories - all for the sake of making cats happy, of course.
Major v0.20.126 Released
- Endless researches: 15 special end-game scientific projects that allow you to spend ridiculous amounts of money for serious gameplay bonuses (see below)
- New building: Pawssenger Dock - for your cats to wait for boarding and being carried around the Factory
- Naturally, it comes with a new airship: Cat Blimps!
- New upgrade: High Quality (++) Cat Houses
- Cat House Maker has Quality (+) recipe by default
- After cats leave tasting buildings, items they've added to their shopping list are displayed above them
- When you get a reward for a Dr. Katz's request, it's visually displayed above the character's head
- Pipette tool now works on grown up plants (a growing plant will stick to the cursor)
- Cats slightly rebalanced
- Research cost slightly rebalanced
- Order of research projects in Terraforming category slightly changed
- Improved tutorial
- Campaign loading speed decreased (up to 10 seconds)
- Freeplay premade maps loading speed decreased
- Saving game time optimization
- Save game file size decreased
- Minor SFX improvements
- Performance optimization
- UI/UX fixes
- Bug fixes

Infinite Research: Eternal Quest For Knowledge
Enter our long-awaited feature for the players who are bearing the burden of being filthy rich and out of projects to research! These one will keep your cat scientists occupied for ages AND provide handsome bonuses to your Factory and your catstomers:
Heres the current structure of research projects and their characteristics, divided by knowledge fields:
Upgrades:
Fortune Activator (income increase) -
Cat Smell Amplifier (Hype increase) -
Square Cardboard Space Signal Emitter (Loyalty increase)
Production:
Time Machine (increased craft & trading speed) -
Dark Matter Condenser (chance of creating extra building) -
Nanoproduction (chance of creating extra item while crafting)
Science:
CatGPT (perfect ML prediction chance && data quality increase) -
Cat Hive Mind (extra researcher XP) -
Catificial Intelligence (extra articles quality)
Logistics:
Space Bender (increased character speed) -
FTL Engine (increased Zeppelin speed) -
Black Hole Pocket (extra Storage && Stores capacity)
Terraforming:
Growth Hormones (chance of extra plant multiplication) -
Fungi From Pluto (plant growth speed increase) -
Plantastic Cloning (chance of keeping a plant intact for harvesting it twice in a row)
