Hey engineers! Lots of small fixes and tweaks can be found here and there in this update, but most importantly: we've started introducing final improvements to Learning Factory's terrain visuals! More on that below.

Re: Factory

In this section of patch notes, we answer the questions from the community that were submitted via the in-game feedback form and/or seemed especially interesting to us. Q: Not sure if these are meant to be like that or not but when the credit scene rolls (at least the part with the ship) if i moved my mouse i could see the name of things on the map (i could also harvest and remove them). Also when building the ship, a few times it said i completed the part when i only gave 2 things instead of 3 (so if it asked for 100a, 50b and 300c and i gave it 100a and 300c it closed itself and said its done) -Nameless A: We've fixed the bug with the tooltips, thanks for pointing that out. As for filling the Catopia Ark, it does not require all the items, just a bunch for you to select from. You can see the overall amount of items needed in the tooltip. A friendly reminder: don't forget about our collection of items in Steam Points Shop! Sergei the artist makes wonderful factory art to be observed from above, but his works' magic really shows at close-up perspective:

Learning factory is an automation sim in which you will learn how machine learning works and design your own self-sustaining factory.

It's all part of perhaps the most important quest: trying to understand what your cat REALLY wants. Do you want that door opened? Or closed? Understanding such complicated creatures cannot be done without analyzing huge amounts of data and building a neural network. And there's just a place to go for all that.

Welcome to what once was the largest research site of cat behavior in the world: the now-defunct KOTOVOD Learning Factory. It was built to process the insane amount of data about cats and their habits. The project was shut down many years ago and now it's up to you to bring the mighty KOTOVOD back to its former glory
