My new project - Wilderwind (thunderclap link at the bottom)



I will launch my Kickstarter campaign for my game Wilderwind on May 8th. It would help me a lot if you contribute and help spread the word with a Tweet, Facebook post or Tumblr post on the day of the launch.

Any support for my projects means a lot.
As a one person indie studio I don't get a lot of exposure, I'm no expert at marketing either, I just want to make great and fun games! Not spend all my days trying to get the word out. With your help I can reach people, many people, and let them know about Wilderwind!
Anyone helping spread the word is a winner in my book and is truly helping this project become a reality by maximizing chances of a successful campaign. You have my thanks in advance for any support.

For those who are wondering what type of videogame Wilderwind is, it is an Online multiplayer survival rpg set in a world full of magic and danger. Where woodland creatures walk and act as humans would.

Now with VR (Virtual Reality) support!

VR support has been implemented! If you own a Oculus Rift or Playstation VR headset just follow these steps in the game: (for oculus users, make sure you have 0.8 runtime or later)

- Plug in your Oculus or Playstation VR headset
- Run the game, open the menu with ESC and go to Options
- Choose Oculus or Playstation VR from the dropdown list
- Reset the game

And hopefully you'll be all set! To go back to normal choose "Normal" from the dropdown list.

Note: Currently only Windows and Mac builds support VR, Linux is still uncertain.

Edit:
The Playstation VR has not confirmed support for PC, it may be available through 3rd party drivers (like the PS3/4 controller) if it is able to connect to a PC physically that is. At this point I don't have any more info than anyone else sorry :)

Also I think the "Oculus" setting supports GearVR if anyone owns one I'd be happy to find out if that is the case, thanks!

Random Table Layout Feature!

Random table layout option available (to go back to the old standard table layout, press esc then go to options and untick random table layouts)

All stages will now by default randomize their starting layout. Originally I thought it would be less frustrating having a layout you could familiarise yourself with and keep for each level, however many people have asked for this new feature so now here it is! If it DOES turn out to be too frustrating, remember you can turn it off from the options menu. Just untick "Random Table Layouts" and it will go back to how it was before.

Also a couple of bugs that cropped up not letting people finish the tea party:
- Fixed teas from the teapot not activating goal
- Fixed waters from the teapot turning the colour of teas when a teabag was dropped into the teapot

Added a couple of missing sounds

There were a handful of sounds missing so I added them.

Also stopped sound effects continuing after level reset.
