Hi folks, We have just released Springtime Scramble, a brand new mini-expansion for DemonCrawl!
This update includes the following content:

• A whopping 40 new items
• New special stage: the Item Tree
• New stranger: the Scientist
• A new mechanic that allows you to enchant cells
• The Evasion stat which gives you a chance to dodge monsters as well as "on reveal" effects
• 5 new stage mods
• 2 new Mythic Emblems
• A handful of reworked items
• New original music

Additionally, Springtime Scramble marks the beginning of DemonCrawl's annual Easter event (fashionably late, I know...) which will run through the remainder of April. We have added 10 new holiday avatars for you to collect! If you manage to complete all the standard holiday missions, you will unlock a final "extra" mission that will challenge your puzzle-solving abilities. (Similar to last year's Halloween event.) Balance Changes

• Directly spawning monsters with effects such as Pentagram will no longer trigger "on reveal" effects
• Drill reworked into an enchantment item: "Enchant target visible cell: each turn, increase this cell's value by 1. If it's 10 or greater, upgrade the loot in this cell or spawn a coin here, then reset the cell value."
• Clay Figurine reworked into a magic item: "[100 Mana] While charged, all chests contain Soft Clay."
• Ritual Chalk has been converted into an enchantment item
• Millstone price reduced from 32 to 19 coins
• Silver Bullet price reduced from 24 to 21 coins
• Tithing Plate price reduced from 15 to 13 coins
• Clusterbang price reduced from 19 to 14 coins
• Parting Gift price reduced from 9 to 7 coins
• Pillow price reduced from 14 to 10 coins
• Shoulder Angel price reduced from 25 to 20 coins
• Shoulder Devil price reduced from 25 to 20 coins

Bug Fixes

• Fixed "stranger enhancing" items such as Bindle ignoring passive negation effects
• Fixed visual issue with explosion effects
• Fixed an issue related to status turn adjustment and realtime status effects
• Resolved many non-critical compiler warnings
