Hey, Detectives! This year, I'm thankful I was able to save Officer Dooley from the Darkside Dimension, thankful I get to the robotic circus and thankful that I could see my favorite wrestler El Doolio. And since I have the power to write a big ol' announcement for the Steam Awards, I'm writing a big ol' announcement for the Steam Awards! It's my pleasure to endorse The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark for the Labor of Love category, since we're definitely not in this for the money. For those of you who don't pay attention to the esoteric rules of the Steam Awards, players like you can nominate your favorite games for awards like Sit Back and Relax, Best Game You Suck At and Better With Friends. Each game can only win for one category, so we wanted to officially point you all in the direction of the Labor of Love category and go "that one!" If you're sharing robotic turkey (this joke won't make sense 'til the next case is out, remember it!) with friends or family you're thankful for, might I recommend sharing The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark with them as well? There's a Steam Sale starting right when this post goes live so it's never been a better time to show your family this game so they understand all the weird Bloodwolves references you keep making. As always, thanks for playing and hope you have a great holiday! -Buddy P.S. If you wanna know why the cover image for this announcement is so garish and weird, that wasn't made by me. It was made by Miguel on the Twitter, blame him.

- The Darkside Detective : Season 2 Linux Depot [913.18 M]
Haven’t played Season 1? We understand. There’s a lot going on in the world, from Norway relocating to the moon to France going in reverse to Californian Krakens. You can’t play everything. And if Star Wars can start on Episode 4, why can’t you start here with Season 2? We have your back (which we’re not returning, by the way), so this season starts with a recap of everything you need to know from the previous game.
Season 2 is bigger, better, and 100% slimier than ever! A year after the “Motel Incident” of Season 1, we find our reliable Darkside Detective, Francis McQueen, picking up the pieces that left the Darkside Division’s dynamic duo as a slightly less-than-dynamic solo.
While the best line of defense against the unknown took a hit to their ranks, the Darkside’s ominous influence remains ever-present with the supernatural running amuck and the paranormal causing havoc around the completely (ab)normal city of Twin Lakes.
It’s time to brush up on the occult, bust out your signed copy of Guylight, and answer the age-old question, “Why does the moon always seemingly show up when something goes wrong?”
This brand new collection of comedic point-and-click adventures will see Detective McQueen in six new standalone cases as he investigates a creepy carnival, explores a retirement home, and even tries to unwind on a trip to “sunny” old Ireland…
