50% off, update & cheat code

Hey all, hope you are settling into 2018 well. We're on sale @ 50% off this weekend only, so please enjoy!

After much life adjustment, we are diving back into Everything and have some nice updates for our international players coming up, also a very interesting offshoot project, more on both later.

A cheat code (in case you missed it from twitter) - if you start a new game with the name 'Fool' - all objects, abilities and narration come unlocked. This is a little bit like NG+ but designed for testing the hell out the game and starting with a full library.

In the meantime - what would you like to see in Everything? Specifically, is there something in the logic, controls or timing that you found frustrating or could be improved? Let us know in the comments below.

thanks and best wishes,

David

P.S. we're nominated at DICE & GDC Choice this year, nice nice nice

Nominate Everything @ Steam Awards! [also, 45% off]

Everything friends,

At your leisure, please stroll/scroll on over to the Store Page to nominate us for the Steam Awards.

The top category "The World is Grim Enough, Lets Just All Get Along" is for games without conflict or combat - which seems great. Of course, feel free to nominate us in any category you like.

Sorry if you're reading a million of these, i don't like asking for clicks, but the Steam Awards seem cool - most of our audience is already here, no extra signup needed, and the categories are good!

Also we're 45% off this week, so hope you can pick it up if it's on yer wishlist.

Thanks & happy thanksgiving,

David

1.06 Patch Notes & Linux support!

Hey!
It's been only 1 week since we launched - and what an incredible week it has been.

Everything has been the #2 trending game on Steam for the past week [according to SteamSpy] so thank you for helping spread the word - and for taking the time to write nice reviews. It helps!

So - due to much support on the forum, and the help of some friends, we managed to release Everything for Linux! This includes all other features such as cloud saves and should run just as well as other platforms.

Other things in this build, now fixed:

  • Proper support for multiple monitors/ultra wide screens
  • Support for more controllers
  • Disaster Switch fixed (find it in Settings)
  • Some things were not being spawned, fixed. (thanks, completionists)
  • A few very rare bugs squashed

Thank you again for your feedback, crash reports, and for playing.

1.0502 patch notes

Everything 1.0502 patch notes

  • *new* Windowed mode (alt+Enter / Cmd+F)
  • Now plays in non 16:9 resolutions
  • Fixed some potential issues with attaining Join ability
  • Disasters [the crazy auto-scene culling] appear less frequently
  • Disasters can be switched off entirely in Settings
  • Optimization of Galaxy scale which was causing crashes.
  • Improved camera on growing things (less intense bobbing)
  • Use of [~] to open Mind replaced with [m] key, as ~ isn't on some keyboards

Thank you for your crash reports & feedback.

Also thank you for leaving nice reviews, we appreciate it! :greenfrog:
