I've updated the Linux and windows version of Little Crane. If you don't like the shallow depth of field look, you can switch it off in the settings menu. V121: - Link against latest steam api, so that screen shots now work. - Added shallow depth of field rendering. - Linux: Fixed SDL2 bug where key events would get duplicated.

It's been a while, I hope you forgive me for mentioning my new venture here. I'm trying to get a new game green-lit for publication. It is a Pyramid Building Simulator. If you can spare a few minutes, check out Imhotep, Pyramid Builder, your vote can help get this game to market. Like Little Crane, it has a big emphasis on simulation, not so much mechanical simulation, but crowd simulation. If you like my previous work, you may also like this one. Thank you, Bram Stolk.

I've just uploaded windows/linux/mac builds v1.16 that will bring two new levels to the game!
- New level 'flatpack.'
- New level 'vault.'
- Fixed the loud sound at first start of a level.
- Fixed a small memory leak.
- Improved the behaviour of dirt particles in a dozer-bucket / excavator- bucket: they are less bouncy, and will stay in the bucket much better when driving.
- Tuned dirt versus dirt collisions.

Available now is todays new build that adds a proper keyboard configurator. You can access this in the settings menu, and it is a lot easier than editing a text file. It will also allow remapping the drive keys. So if you want to steer with WASD, you now can. Also, keyboard steer control was fixed for pressing both L and R at the same time. Enjoy, Bram Stolk

Dear players, I just pushed three new builds (v1.11) out to steam. They are available for download now. You may need to restart the steam client to force an update. The new builds have the following improvements:
- Added sandbox
- Ask for resume/restart when selecting the same level.
- Removed spurious marker on minimap, on level 3.
- Fixed keyboard steering for tracked vehicles that reverse.
- Don't show camera control tip more than once per session.
- Added brand image to menu.

Yesterday, the Mac build has been updated. I recompiled it without the use of AVX/SSE4 instructions. This will make it compatible with older macs. If your game crashed upon launch, this was the cause. Soon, possibly today, I hope to update all builds (mac, linux, windows) to include a sandbox option. It will also address a few minor issues like keyboard control when reversing a tracked vehicle. With your help I can make this game better. Write a review, or suggest mission ideas. Thanks! Bram Stolk

Driving and operating heavy machinery is a blast!
Test your operating skills in this simulator game with a diverse set of challenges.
Use the crane to load an unload, the bulldozer to shape the terrain, and an excavator to dig up the terrain.
Speaking of terrain: it is the real hero in this game!
With never seen before dig-anywhere technology™ you can shape the world.
Any changes to the world will persist between levels and game sessions, and there are no restrictions: cliffs, overhangs, caves, tunnels: it is all possible.
The world size is near infinite: you can dig a hole, then drive for an hour in a random direction and backtrack by following your track impressions in the terrain.
You will then find your dug hole as you left it: no short-cuts: real terrain simulation!
The game features 8 levels, and for each challenge you are given one or more vehicles to fulfill your mission. Each vehicle comes to life with quality physics simulations, and faithfully interacts with its environment.
