Hey there! Hope you are doing good cleahappy.
In a game series, the first release often has the issue of feeling repetitive. As in, the entire campaign seems to be set in the same few places.
The most recent example I can think of is Doom 2016. Well, I disagree, because I am a massive fan clealol, but I have read many players say the whole game takes place either on Mars or in hell, which became a bore. Doom Eternal has certainly fixed this problem.
Why does this happen? I suspect in many cases, it is due to a lack of resources. Perhaps you are a new creator, and/or you do not have the funds required for more variety. Even if you do, being the first game in a series, it can feel like a risk to put everything into one basket, so to speak.
In Clea 1, I had tried my best to ensure each chapter felt different. First, you have the clock tower, then we head out to a grass maze, and toward the end, the cells.
Still, things can always be better. Plenty of players pointed out the fact that hey, there sure seems to be a lot of bathrooms in this mansion cleasmug. Also, most of the game took place exclusively indoors.
Clea 2 is set to learn from those lessons. Once you pass chapter 1, off you go to the Fourth Dimension and the realms beyond. That alone should be a clue to the varied settings players will get to visit and conquer. More outdoor spaces, too. Clea 2 is a test of player skills, but along the way, I hope you will also enjoy the sights.
Thank you for wishlisting Clea 2, and for sharing with your friends:
