What's up Deities?

Since the background story is very important to us, we want to start a series of character profiles beginning with this post which will give a small insight into the background of each playable character in our fantasy/sci-fi singleplayer and multiplayer real-time strategy hybrid LIQUIDATION, a game in which you take the role of a Deity to bring back balance to the devastated and war-torn world of Ve. We are also planning to reveal some addtional gameplay information about them in the future which will include their abilties and role on the battlefield for the people who are more interested in gameplay. You can also expect a game teaser and a trailer in the coming months when we get closer to our kickstarter campaign launch and of course the launch of the game itself. Today's character profile features one of our latest created characters which is one of the leaders of the Scourge faction, an alliance of poisonous reptile creatures which excels in early harassing attacks.

Race: Basilisk Lamia Age: 107 years Origin: Vrathor Height: 254 cm Weight: 198 kg Gender: Female Bloodtype: AB- Affiliation: Scourge Alliance Occupation: High Priestess & Advisor of the Scourge Alliance Relative(s): Aeternus (Husband) Personality: Celeste is a very religious person. Having spent much of her youth in a temple, she found enjoyment in praying and healing magic. She has a motherly personality, and so can't ignore people in need, being always prone to help her people if there's a problem. She tends to let people tell her what to do, rationalizing this to be the will of the Gods. Likes: Praying, Herbalism, Singing Dislikes: Violence, Herself Background: Celeste is a rare lamia basilisk, the high priestess of the Scourge Alliance, the wife of Prophet Aeternus and a sorceress capable of casting magic through her voice. Throughout her youth she struggled due to her paralyzing gaze, unintentionally inflicting pain upon others which caused her to embrace solitude to protect those she held dear. Holding unto her faith and the enjoyment of singing she tried to overcome solitude until a fellow lamia who was able to resist her gaze gave her the hope she needed to escape her despair. After the cataclysmic event of the Splintering she united the races of the hollow worlds alongside her husband, forming the Scourge Alliance. With the appearance of the resource of quenrium, the Scourge Alliance went to war against the Twilight Crusade despite her plead of resolving the issue peacefully. Liquidation is an original Real-Time Strategy (RTS) game set in a universe that mixes elements of both fantasy and science fiction, with support for both single-player and multiplayer modes.

The game takes place in the dying plane of Veá, which has been repeatedly ravaged and drained of its very life essence over the course of a massive war that has been going on for centuries. Now, with the doomed world drawing its last breath, you arise as a lesser deity tasked with restoring the balance in Veá and ending this war before it’s too late.

But which one of the four warring factions are you going to lend your favour to in this war’s decisive moments? Will you even follow your task, or will you be the instrument that brings about Veá’s fateful end?

Equip your units with different types of weapons or equipment, use the environment as cover and lead them to victory.

Battle on a variety of themed maps against the AI. Solo or with friends, you choose the difficulty!
Ranked & Custom Online Multiplayer:
Climb the online leaderboard or have a Skirmish with your friends in different game modes with custom settings!
Be a God:
Customize your own Deity Avatar and send yourself into the heat of the battle!
Weather:
Though at first, the weather system appears to be just a visual effect, the weather can have an impact on your gameplay. Just as rain can extinguish the fire of your buildings.
Day & Night Cycle:
A visual effect which increases the atmosphere of the game but also comes with minor effects like affecting the line of sight radius of your units.
In-Game Jukebox:
Witness the whole soundtrack of Liquidation composed by Johan Lindgren known for Magicka's & Helldivers soundtrack.
In-game Encyclopedia:
Learn more about the background story of each character with the ingame encyclopedia which also provides detailed stats about each unit, ability and building of the game.
Observer & Replay Mode:
Spectate matches, share replays, analyze or improve your gameplay.

Every action can be bound to a desired key to control and play the game the way you want!
