Hello everyone! Its been a massive week in terms of announcements, and today I have some absolutely amazing and exciting news to share with you all. Melvor Idle is officially being published by Jagex! Jagex is a company I have looked up to since I was incredibly young. They have created an amazing product that continues to expand today, even after all these years. For them to partner up with me to bring Melvor Idle into the spotlight is something I could only dream of. Starting out as a solo developer and taking that leap into video game development was something I always wanted to do. For Jagex to appreciate and love the product I have created, so much that they want to join me in this journey, is something that leaves me quite speechless (in a good way). The amount of support and resources they will bring to Melvor Idle which will directly aid in its growth and development is substantial. Their passion for Melvor Idle is extremely clear, and throughout my discussions with various team members I can see how much they love and enjoy the game. The experience and knowledge they have will directly aid in the expansion of Melvor Idle. With Jagex by my side, the possibilities are endless for Melvor Idle and beyond. I can assure you that Jagex has the right mindset going forward with Melvor Idle. They understand and share my values around creating video games, and will continue to directly support those moving forward. They have massive amounts of love and respect for the Melvor Idle community, and will continue to drive Melvor Idle forward with a community-driven approach. Melvor Idle is a feature-rich, idle / incremental game with a familiar feel. With over 20+ unique skills to tackle, you will always have something new to tackle.
Features include offline progression, cloud save compatibility, many unique shop upgrades, inbuilt bank / inventory system and more!
Every skill in this game has its purpose, and interacts with other skills in unique and interesting ways. The training of one skill will benefit others, forcing you to make decisions about the best cause of action to take.
Combat has over 110+ unique monsters for you to face, utilizing Melee, Ranged or Magic attack types to gain advantages over your foe. You can level up Prayer, Slayer, and Hitpoints alongside your standard Combat
Combat comes sorted with many fierce and tough Dungeons for you to conquer. Each Dungeon contains a unique, tough boss at the end which in turn will provide massive rewards for completion!
Skills are your break away from the madness that is Combat. You can relax by training many different skills to aid in your journey. Currently, there is 12 separate Skills to progress away from Combat.
