Update Preview - v1.3.1 - New Realm Select, Bank Filters, ItA Balancing and more
One of the primary points of feedback comes around the Realm Select that was implemented, and how it works between Skills. It was a bit confusing or frustrating to be constantly navigating dropdowns to select your desired Realm and the content within. We are introducing a new Realm select feature that separates Realms even more, and hopefully aligns more with how Realms ended up being implemented in the end.
The sidebar now has a new Enter/Leave Abyssal Realm button that will control the Realm for every Skill including Combat. Clicking this option will change the Realm for every Skill, and will adjust menu options and available Skill content based on the Realm.
If other Realms are available, whether it be from Mods or the game itself, youll be able to select them from a new dropdown menu. This menu only appears if other Realms are available. If the Abyssal Realm is the only other Realm, then this option is hidden.
The Bank is getting some predefined filters that will allow you to show/hide certain types of Items that you may not want to see. Its only in a basic state at the moment, so options are limited for this release. Using the Bank Search will adhere to your filters. If its hidden from the Bank, it will be hidden from the search. Were making some of the recipe costs for Into the Abyss a lot nicer to train on:
Weve reworked the early to mid-game XP rates for Into the Abyss, allowing progression in the early stages to be a lot faster for most (not all) Non-Combat Skills. This will allow you to get into ItA content a bit faster than before. Early game content sees double the XP rate, which scales downward until around Abyssal Level 30-35ish. See the changelog below for a detailed run-down on the XP changes.

Hello everyone! Its been a minute since Ive provided an update on what were working on behind the scenes, so I thought now would be a good chance to give you a sneak peek at the upcoming v1.3.1 update (no ETA yet). This update primarily focuses on Into the Abyss and addressing feedback weve received around it.
Important Notes
- 98% of these changes relate to the Into the Abyss Expansion.
- This update is not yet released, and theres no ETA just yet. Once balancing and translations are finalised, we will release it.
- I'd also like to release the Offline Client - Stage 2 at the same time as this update, so hopefully everything aligns and I can get everything out in one go.
- The changes are not final, as we still have general balance changes and fixes to implement.
- You can play the Beta of this update at https://melvoridle.com/beta/
- It uses different saves, so just log into your Cloud account and import your live save.
- DO NOT export from the Beta back into the Live game before the update is released publically. It won't work and will corrupt your save! You can do so once we release the update and the versions match (Eg. v1.3.1).
New Realm Select

Summary of Features:
- Realm Select has moved from Skills themselves to the Sidebar
- Added a new Enter/Leave Abyssal Realm button that controls the Realm for every Skill.
- Skills no longer show their Realm select. Instead, they only show the content available in your current Realm.
- Artisan Skills and Combat will only show categories for the Realm you are currently in.
- If there are more than 2 available Realms, a new Select Realm dropdown in the sidebar will appear allowing you to select other Realms.
- Entering/Exiting the Abyssal Realm will automatically change the sidebar to show/hide Abyssal Levels, AP, ASC and Soul Points.
- Skills in the Sidebar will have a slight transparent style applied to them if it contains no content for the Realm you are currently inside.
- Sidebar adjusts its style when inside the Abyssal Realm.
- The Abyssal Realm will show as Locked in the sidebar, and clicking on it will display its unlock requirements.
- Ability to swap back the Legacy Realm select from settings if you preferred that.

Into the Abyss Recipe Costs
Were making some of the recipe costs for Into the Abyss a lot nicer to train on:
- Heavily reduced the costs to create Arrows, Javelins, Bolts and Crossbows in Fletching.
- Removed one Item completely from the recipe cost of most Abyssal Rings & Amulets in Crafting
- Reduced the quantity required of Abyssal Rings & Amulets required for upgraded version (II).
- Removed the Ring/Amulet item requirement for Obzurian Rings & Amulets in Crafting.
- Removed the Brumite Bar cost for Gloomite Gear in Smithing.
- Removed the Gloomite Bar cost for Witherite Gear in Smithing.
- Halved the Witherite Bar cost quantity for Netherite Gear in Smithing.
Into the Abyss Early-Mid XP Balancing

- Implemented a new Realm Select. This appears in the sidebar instead of within Skills themselves.

- Abyssal Slayer Areas are now called Abyssal Slayer Regions. Modifier descriptions have also been updated for the new name.
- Changing Realms will now change the Realm for ALL Skills (unless using the Legacy Realm selection setting).
- Added Witherlyme Seed drop to WIthering Ruins Thieving area as a unique area drop
- Added Whispertallow Seed drop to Silent Crypt Thieving area as a unique area drop
- Added Echosnap Seed drop to Void Vaults Thieving area as a unique area drop
- Increased Void Essence drop quantity in Void Vaults Thieving area to 2, up from 1.

Combat has over 110+ unique monsters for you to face, utilizing Melee, Ranged or Magic attack types to gain advantages over your foe. You can level up Prayer, Slayer, and Hitpoints alongside your standard Combat
Combat comes sorted with many fierce and tough Dungeons for you to conquer. Each Dungeon contains a unique, tough boss at the end which in turn will provide massive rewards for completion!
Skills are your break away from the madness that is Combat. You can relax by training many different skills to aid in your journey. Currently, there is 12 separate Skills to progress away from Combat.
