Major Update - R08 Changelog:
Stages:
- Added some destroyable to help to maintain the combo counter
Combo counter:
- Added a half second to disappear
- Stage transitions have a bonus time to not break the combo counter
Added Custom Survival Mode:
- Players can tweak his/her survival experience with a variety of options.
Mania +:
- Added Cursed arcades in Mania+ difficulty.
- Added special reinforcements during boss battles.
- Added One life.
- The score to get an extra life is higher in the arcade mode.
Added coop attack:
- Hold 'Pick up' and grab your partner to throw him.
- Airborne player can press a special button to perform a unique attack.
All characters:
- Lots of reduced hit stop
- All charged attacks and normal combo last hits can hit multiple enemies after the first active frames even if an enemy is hit
- Fixed a bug where some wall bounces could do no damage

Greetings everyone, Today, we would like to thank you all for your feedback and love since the launch of Mr. X Nightmare DLC last July. Thanks to you and your detailed feedback, our development team has been able to work on some game stability improvements. We know you've been waiting for this stability patch for quite some time now. Today, our development team is happy to share it with you. Once again, thank you all for your help! Here is the changelog, featuring the various fixes implemented to improve the game stability:
- Fixed a rare crash in Survival, when an AI was able to take a bonus.
- Fixed random crashes during loading times.
- Fixed a crash in the training mode for Windows 8 users, or users using Windows 8 compatibility mode.
- Fixed a crash at startup for users having accented characters in the app path.
- Improved online multiplayer stability.
A minor update was made to the Linux/macOS versions of Streets of Rage 4 today, with two changes: - Update to FNA 21.12, mostly a Vulkan and SDL update - A possible integrity issue was found in the last version's "bigfile", which could lead to multiplayer desyncs with the Windows version. The data should now be identical on all three operating systems. The hope is that this will fix Chinatown specifically. Once again, thanks to everyone for their support!
A minor update was made to the Linux/macOS versions of Streets of Rage 4 today, to update to FNA 21.10. No other changes were made to the game in any way. This update is mostly to work around an OpenGL driver bug for the Steam Deck, but it does carry some minor Vulkan improvements along with it. Unless you're on RDNA2 hardware this update should be virtually identical to the last. Thank you for your continued support!

Well, each time you complete a level in the Survival Mode, you can choose between two random perks. These perks grant stackable bonuses to boost your fighter in a unique and powerful way (of course those expire once you are defeated). Furthermore, as you bravely fight through the many assaults in the Survival mode, you will permanently unlock new moves to use in any mode in Streets of Rage 4. Once unlocked, this will allow you to customize the movelists of your favorite characters any way you want. In addition to the new moves, in this new mode, you can also unlock devastating new weapons to use in both training and survival mode, as well as new gallery content. There is also a Survival Mode leaderboard that allows you to keep an eye on all the community's fights... So who among you will be the best fighter in Wood Oak City? Mr. X Nightmare DLC will include:

Streets of Rage 4 is a teamwork effort between Lizardcube, Guard Crush Games, Dotemu, the all-star line-up of composers, Sound designers, QA, Localization, PR, OST Producers, OST coordinators, and many other teams. Greetings everyone, We noticed that some players experienced issues with their save data after downloading the latest update. Today we're deploying a hotfix to solve the issue that occurred with patch 05 (released last Friday). This hotfix will : Fix incorrect "corrupted save data" message showing up in the latest version and preventing players from launching the game. Greetings, It's been almost three months since Streets of Rage 4 release and the team can't thank you enough for supporting the game. Today we are deploying a new patch to bring crash fix and in-game save system improvement. /!\ BEFORE DOWNLOADING THE UPDATE /!\ We recommend you to copy-paste your Save.bin somewhere on your computer so if you encounter an issue with the update, you can still find your progress somewhere. Please find below the changelog: - Fixed random crash occurring when playing with a keyboard. - Improved save system to avoid save data corruption issues. - Improved save data backup system and now allow to retrieve a former data if corruption occurs. We just added a backup branch (with everything unlocked) for everyone who lost their save when downloading the last update. Greetings, It's been a week already since Streets of Rage 4 launch, and we're running out of words to express or gratitude for your support. Today we are deploying a new patch to fix crash and a few more issues encountered in-game Please find below the changelog:
- Bug fixes and addition of new messages in case of access denied for writing save data.
- Fixed rare crash issue when activating a star move while another player access to the retro stage.
- Fixed issue with "perfect" achievement which couldn't be unlocked if the character takes a hit with 0 damages.
- Fixed rare crash when selecting "random arena" in Battle mode.
