Greetings everyone, Today is Streets of Rage 4's first anniversary! We want to celebrate this special day with this Community Spotlight! Streets of Rage 4 is a teamwork effort between Lizardcube, Guard Crush Games, Dotemu, the all-star line-up of composers, Sound designers, QA, Localization, PR, OST Producers, OST coordinators, and many other teams. We launched the game one year ago, we heard and took encouragements, your happiness but also your disappointments, critics, and feedback into account to shape the Streets of Rage 4 game and experience you deserved. We are thankful to every single person (from the teams mentioned above and the community) who contributed to this amazing SOR4 journey since day one. The game is nothing without its wonderful community of players, artists, musicians, speedrunners, creators, etc. Your support means the world to us and keeps motivating us to give the best of ourselves in the project and also in the upcoming DLC (Mr.X Nightmare). Many of you wanted a release date today but as you know, wed rather take our time to do things right than giving a release date and realize that we cannot honor our commitments. We believe that rushing things wouldnt bring any satisfaction but would rather lead to frustration and disillusionment. Weve got many surprises in store for you with Mr. X Nightmare DLC: a new character reveal, gameplay videos to showcase the new characters movesets and modes (Survival and Training), and much more. The all-time classic Streets of Rage, known as Bare Knuckle (ベア・ナックル Bea Nakkuru) in Japan, is a trilogy of beat ‘em up known for this timeless gameplay and electronic dance influenced music. Streets of Rage 4 builds upon the classic trilogy’s gameplay with new mechanics, beautiful hand drawn visuals and a God tier soundtrack.

An iconic series like Streets of Rage got its iconic characters: Axel, Blaze, Adam and other veterans reunited to clean up the streets.
