Happy new year! At this beginning of 2025, our community has grown bigger and bigger thanks to the support from all of you, which we are so grateful for. Since we have released our trust score and report system in August 2024, we have witnessed a great change on the overall game environment. Meanwhile we also received some feedback about our systems with concerns about a few players inappropriate behaviour. We would like to share a bit more information about things we have done recently and next steps to maintain a better community environment. Players deserve to enjoy the game without disruption/abuse from others. In response to various reports we have received regarding disruptive gameplay, we have begun issuing account bans. These will be issued carefully, and with ample verified reports from players. Going forth, players that modify the game client and abuse exploits to disrupt the gameplay of other players will also face bans. We encourage all players to consciously maintain a peaceful and friendly atmosphere as well as mutual respect to fully enjoy the game. We strictly forbid any potential behaviour that compromises other players' gaming experience and/or the public social environment. If you witness or experience any such behaviour, please collect and send evidence to the team. You can also use the in-game reporting system. We will then review the reports and take any appropriate action. Thank you all for your ongoing support. We will continue to take measures to help maintain the community environment and bring more joy to the community. We have some exciting news and plans for 2025 that we are eager to share when the time comes! Stay tuned for some Steam announcements!

Hello everyone! We have rolled out an update to Draw & Guess that will now let you run either the Live or Beta version of the game during startup. In preparation of a larger update we have planned, our team has been hard at work completely revamping our multiplayer servers from scratch. We have been able to resolve many of the early issues with this system, though are still experiencing a few remaining bugs that can cause lobbies to drop out/players being unable to connect. To conduct necessary tests, we have updated the main game to the beta version, which includes: - Lobby Drawing - New networking system - More drawing tools - Variable brush sizes - A new AI Game Mode (Solo + Multiplayer) - Improved lobby browser - Greyscale Colours - Various bug fixes With previous rollouts, players that encountered bugs/issues to the point of disrupting gameplay were unable to revert to the previous version. From today, we will no longer overwrite the live version of the game, and instead will display a notification letting you know when we've made an update to Beta. We hope that this will help eliminate any disruptions during our update periods. Once we are confident that our Beta version is more stable than the live version, we will make the full upgrade! Thank you all for your support and happy drawing! (We have some very exciting things in store for you in the future ) - Draw & Guess Team

Hello everyone and thank you for playing Draw&Guess. :-) Here is the changelog for this update:
- Fixed a bug that caused the game to freeze when a "favourite drawing" was awarded to a disconnected player Please note that someone pointed out that the Chinese localisation contained errors. The localisation is currently being overworked and will be updated in a few days.
- Fixed a really silly bug that prevented all disconnect logic from being executed. We apologise for that. PS: Voting Timeout and dedicated Game Pause are planned and will come soon :)
- Fixed a bug that caused an "Invalid Room Code" error when the room code contained a zero (0)
- Updated Network Engine - Added small log button for easier retrieval of logs
- Increased lobby search range - Added button to view lobby player steam profiles for easier friend request sending - Lobby now displays rough time estimate for game given chosen settings
- Fixed a bug where a player looked like they weren't kicked (when they in fact were kicked) - Public Joins are more robust: Clients will no longer try to connect to a failed host twice
- Fixed a localisation issue in Japanese - Japanese word list is now extended with esehara's workshop item list. This adds 2500 words to the word list! (Thank you very much, esehara!)
- Further UI Optimizations - Fixed FR and ES localisations - Fixed incorrect detection of disconnects, resulting in game hanging - Fixed public post-Game lobbies not listed in Steam Matchmaking
- Adjusted to Steam security updates that resulted in users being displayed as unknown
