Hello Skeleton Crew! Presenting you our biggest update until now: The Quality of Afterlife Patch, adding a ton of requested features which make the game more accessible and fun to play! Most noteworthy are the new Map you can find ingame at certain places, giving you a nice overview of the Cubold Kingdom and your current position. - Pumpkin set will now be available in the secret grave after all three parts have been found at least once
- Visual indication of selected weapon in UI
- New setting in the Options menu to let the player stand still while aiming with a lance
- Keys in the random dungeon are now displayed on the map when they spawn or are left behind
- Added a note in the Random Dungeon Hub for beating the submarine
- Added a map to the game which can be viewed at various places
- New "Relax Mode" option which will make a lot of changes to the game:
- Increases invulnerability time after getting hit (3x)
- Halves the time of all negative status effects
- Makes all weapons deal at least 2 damage
- Reduces the speed of traps
- Increases Global Life Cube drop modifier from **0.75** to **1.5**
- Adds a lot of smaller changes to all enemies (e.g. attack speed)
- Reduces enemy count in the random dungeon by half
- Halves most bosses' HP
- When touching fire with fire resistance a small damage cooldown is applied so player will not jump around without control
- Shipwreck torso will also focus enemies like Dark Skippy
- Bombs now do fire damage (so Hell Knight armor reduces the damage and it will make Skippy burn)
- When upgrading pumpkin items at the cook other items will be upgraded in the same animation when already done before
- Increased placement cost of Fire Gargoyles in the random dungeon (So they will use up more space in the rooms, resulting in less enemies when they get placed)
- Reduced enemy spawn count multiplier for Layer 4 (Magma floor) of the random dungeon from 1.5 to 1.25
- Reduced enemy spawn count multiplier for Layer 5 (Submarine floor) of the random dungeon from 2.0 to 1.75
- Reduced rotation speed of Fire Towers (Refractured Mode and Random Dungeon)
- Enemies and traps can't spawn in the exit rooms of the submarine dungeon anymore
- Traps won't spawn near submarine dungeon doors anymore
- Made rotating arms of Submarine Boss slower in normal mode
- Made rotating arms of Submarine Boss really slow in relax mode
- Black Hellknight does attack faster in normal mode
- Increased HP of the orcs in the Arena boss fight (Refractured Mode)
- Increased cooldown of medusa head from 3 to 6
- Scarecrow head can now extinguish fire from traps (Like the random dungeon)
- Scarecrow head can now extinguish burning enemies and the fire modification for enemies in the random dungeon
- Improved Random Submarine Dungeon Performance at deeper levels
- Improved performance of the dungeon and Barracks in Refractured Mode
- Improved loading times of areas and objects
- Fixed some camera angles at the Mill so the landscape will not clip anymore
- Dropping the Sewer Key into the Sewers will now return it to the player
- Fixed Bats getting stuck when not landing in the floor
- Fixed Player 2 Ghost remaining when deactivating second player
- Fixed arena door at the orc arena boss fight so it's not destroyable by bombs anymore
- Prevent automatic collection of another Item in range when hooking an item in the random dungeon
- Item stands will not flash anymore when hit
- Item stands in the secret grave will not explode anymore when hit by a wand
- The "Stack 3 Medusas" Achievement will not be triggered by Jellyfish in the Randomized Dungeon anymore
- Fixed displaying normal head for a frame when switching between weapons in the equip menu while wearing pumpkin armor
- Removed unused colliders in Refractured Mode Torture Chamber
- Orcs will not attack anymore while holding bombs, they throw them away first
- Bomb heads will now still destroy environment, event when player will die
- Removed the possibility to jump from the backyard onto the safehouse rooftop to skip a big part of the game
- Improved the Farm fight at the Barracks entrance. Door is closing now behind Skippy, simple wood planks are replaced by massive chains
- Keys in the random dungeon are now also displayed when in the same room as a Chest (while using a map to make them visible).
- When in two player mode it is not possible anymore to fall trough the dining elevator
- Sugar cane and orc club now appear in the secret grave even when not collected after finishing their respective quests. So players cannot skip them entirely
- Attack pattern of Refractured Mode boss fight is now more diverse, resulting in less waiting time between phases where the player can fight with Dark Skippy
- Fire effects of Ice Dragon attacks are now closer to the ground
- Fixed Random Dungeon doors might not open up when enemies escaped the room
- Fixed wrong camera settings when beating the game in Refractured Mode
- Fixed a lot of colliders in various areas
- Fixed a bug which lead to the player teleporting back to the old Save Grave when dying in Refractured Mode without clearing another Save Grave. By this it is possible to get to places normally not possible in this mode.
- Health Cubes collected by Player 2 will now visually move to the right Health bar
- Fixed visual glitch when Medusas and Jellyfishes are jumping
- Fixed a bug causing players to be revived instantly in Co-op Mode when standing in certain places
- Health cube are now easier to be collected with tentacle Feet
- Fixed frozen head frame when using Medusa and Dark Skippy head effects while getting damaged
- Fixed certain drops not dropping while bad luck items (Dark Skippy set) are equipped
- Dragon head effect will not malfunction anymore when it is extinguished by the Scarecrow head
