Devlog 54: 4 Devlogs Until the 1.3 Update
Once you complete the Forest caves, Inza and Zeda will invite you to the new regions we have mentioned before in Devlog 46. There, you will find a closed-off cave in each area. Once you complete the main story, those areas will open up, allowing you to venture into their depths. Unlike the Forest Caves, breaking rocks wont open doors, but you may find an interesting new material or two if you try. This time, opening doors will require a key in the form of sigils found in the new areas. If this sounds a bit cryptic, worry not; a mysterious visitor will tell you what you need to know when the time is right. (There. Im glad I could clear that up )
With new materials come new tools! Chop trees in only two hits, or harvest plenty of fiber for your animals in the savanna. Then, take a moment to appreciate how far we have come from the early days of using our handaxe.
While exploring the Sun caves, youll come across some tokens that will allow you to breed new kinds of animals like goats, llamas, pigs, chickens, sheep, and cows. You can read more about the new animals in Devlog 47.
While exploring the Moon caves, youll find 14 long-lost seeds that will allow you to plant evolved versions of plants, like an orange carrot or a yellow tomato. Welcome back for another Pachan Prophecy! There are only four more devlogs until the 1.3 update releases! Today, well focus on caves!
The Forest caves of Roots of Pacha that you may have already explored held many secrets. Today, well share a bit about the new caves coming in the 1.3 update, where a few new secrets await. We will do our best to tell you about the caves in the upcoming 1.3 update without divulging too much about what you will find inside.
That said! Spoilers are ahead if you choose to dig deeper into the caves.
Sun and Moon Caves

The game was developed from scratch with multiplayer support in mind. Live together with friends and share your talents and resources to help the clan evolve. Ride your favorite animals together. Compete in fishing, have fun at festivals, and participate in milestone multiplayer cutscenes.
Customize your character’s appearance with the best cosmetics the stone age has to offer. When you’re done working on your face, work on creating the most amazing farm around. Don’t stop there! Design, place, and decorate your own unique home to return to after a hard day’s work.
