Hey everyone,
Id like to share that I just updated the game to the latest version!
This time I completed the 'Junkers'-storyline and made a start with the 'Doctors' storyline. And let's say...during this part of the adventure, Keen really has to double his effords to get ahead :)
Well! I hope you will enjoy the new content,
and I look forward to hear what you think of it all!

This has been added -in more detail
- New gameplay, quests & dialogs.
A total of 204 new images were added to the game, which are part of:
- New location: 2 Crew Hallways
- New Location: Crew Lounge
- New Location: Telecope Lounge
- New Location: Medbay Entrance
- New Location: Medbay Office
- New character: The doctor
- 2 XXX scenes for Yi-jie
- Various new character poses, items and additional story art.
Also:
- I fixed many spelling errors you found, thanks!
Please keep in mind while playing...
- Old save games cannot be re-used ( if code changes, saves break).
- Instead, go to: main menu -> start -> skip ahead, to start again where you left off. (Choose the bottom skip button 'Junkers' to get closest to all new content & here the Medbay is also open).
- When someone tells you to come back later; pass through Keens room.
- Press 'H' to hide the HUD.
- Press 'L' to show the game logo.
- Press 'S' to make a screenshot!
Walkthrough
Are you stuck? Then maybe the
Walkthrough-guide can help?
You can also find it on the sidebar of the store-page. There is a link to the manual, which is the Walkthrough-guide.
Behind the scenes
Now I also thought it might be interesting to show you a bit more of what goes into making the mini-games within Space Rescue. So here you see the 'Crane Game' that appears in the Junkers-story; and the many individual parts the game consists out of.
Now when designing a mini-game, I always need to make sure it fits within a certain safe-zone. So the interactive zone of the mini-game should not overlap the HUD, and there always needs to be room to display the text bar at the bottom. So for that I use a special safety grid, as you can see in this gif-image. It's actually one of the first things I made for Space Rescue, and still very useful!
Next?
Well, that's all the news I have for now. But meanwhile I already started working on the next update, and I hope to be able to release it again in about 3 months.
Also, if you want to share your thoughts on this update, then please do! I'm really curious to hear what you think of the conclusion of the Junkers story...and of the new Doctor :)
Please enjoy this update & till next time!
All the best!
Robin
