What We Learned from the Beta?
Overall, testers had positive thoughts about the beta. Because the demo is out-dated a bit, many people felt that the beta was so much better and that they cant wait for the full release of the game.
Obviously, collecting feedback from players is the whole point of testing out the game. Oscar has been looking through the feedback and already implemented some of the suggestions people have asked! Here are just a few that really caught my attention and for sure some things we will be reviewing.
The beta wasnt perfect and there were a few bugs that cropped up with playtesters. Were thankful for the tester reporting these and will work on killing these bugs. Just for fun, lets take a look at a couple of them!
While these arent all the bugs that they have reported, we are taking the time to discover the cause and fix the issues [strike]while hopefully not causing 3 more.[/strike] - Riv otter

Hey Seekers,
Last week, we completed our first closed beta in the Nanomon Discord. Thank you to all the beta testers who played and give us plenty of informative feedback. Today, I want to share what we learned from all that testing!
First, though, let me share something new! Some new key art to support the development of Nanomon! What are your thoughts on it?
General Thoughts
Overall, testers had positive thoughts about the beta. Because the demo is out-dated a bit, many people felt that the beta was so much better and that they cant wait for the full release of the game.
Important Feedback
Obviously, collecting feedback from players is the whole point of testing out the game. Oscar has been looking through the feedback and already implemented some of the suggestions people have asked! Here are just a few that really caught my attention and for sure some things we will be reviewing.
- A way to lock the window position so people dont accidentally keep dragging the game around when doing other things
- A tracker to see what mons you have gotten
- The focus mode was a great addition to the beta
- The exp grind wasnt too bad if starting the day with them but it was rough if getting a new mon mid exploration.
- The foraging and digging minigames are fun and tactile, but get a little tedious to do after a while
Bugs
The beta wasnt perfect and there were a few bugs that cropped up with playtesters. Were thankful for the tester reporting these and will work on killing these bugs. Just for fun, lets take a look at a couple of them!
Some Spelling Mistakes
Text error
Rerolling poop size and amount
While these arent all the bugs that they have reported, we are taking the time to discover the cause and fix the issues [strike]while hopefully not causing 3 more.[/strike] - Riv otter
