Changelog for version 0.9.0
- Add a Level System. There are around 80 different kinds of foods spread across the map that will make the player level up when eaten. The player can eat two food per horde and balancing your level is now a key factor in the game. - Complete rework of the item placements on the map. This is still randomized but now it has more structure making item progression more satisfying. Items are divided in tiers and the farther you go from the center of the map the better the tier of the items you find. - There are now a local leaderboard. Online leaderboards are comming soon. - Add steam cloud save - Complete rework of the starting screen and pause menus - Performance has greatly improved and problems with the game stuttering are mostly gone. - Some post-processing effects makes the game look prettier now! - Add 3 spells: Vanish, Expanding Shot and Saw - Add 1 mod: Bouncing Shots - Add Option to lower graphics making game accessible in more devices, try changing you setting to low if you are having performance issues. - Add option to Enable/Disable VSync. This week focus was on perfomance, the game runs around two times faster on my machine and is more accessible to lower end hardware. Many stuttering issues on Windows have been fixed. A big change was the addition of the fog of war that hides the map and encourages player exploration. Changelog: - Perfomance Optimizations - 16 new rock sprites - Addition of fog of war, encouraging player exploration of the map - Improvements on player pixel art sprites - Changes to the world generation algorithm to remove some cases where there were areas on the map where the player coudn't reach.

This update brings a change to the game's look. The perspective has been changed from a top-down to an inclined/isometric view, giving the game a 2.5D look. For that change many game assets were reworked and the game graphical feels has improved a lot . Change Log: - Change perspective to an isometric one - Add 8 species of mushrooms - Rework the magical crystals art. - Change on the main character art design - Improvements on the sound design, such as snakes noises sound better now and you receive audio feedback when buying an item. - Rework of the lightining system to make the game look more natural - Changes in the dps of some spells to make game more balanced.
