
Horde Slayer is a magical fantasy horde survival game with rougelike elements to it. The player is a wizard that got lost in a complex cavern filled with dangerous snakes that get progressively stronger and faster as the game progresses. One of the game main elements is the exploration of the cavern, that is procedural generated and changes every game. The player must explore the rooms on the cavern in search of spells that help him fight the snakes. The player must be constantly aware of the surroundings to not get trapped.
Horde Slayer - Level up! - Version 0.9.0 update
- Add a Level System. There are around 80 different kinds of foods spread across the map that will make the player level up when eaten. The player can eat two food per horde and balancing your level is now a key factor in the game.
- Complete rework of the item placements on the map. This is still randomized but now it has more structure making item progression more satisfying. Items are divided
in tiers and the farther you go from the center of the map the better the tier of
the items you find.
- There are now a local leaderboard. Online leaderboards are comming soon.
- Add steam cloud save
- Complete rework of the starting screen and pause menus
- Performance has greatly improved and problems with the game stuttering are mostly gone.
- Some post-processing effects makes the game look prettier now!
- Add 3 spells: Vanish, Expanding Shot and Saw
- Add 1 mod: Bouncing Shots
- Add Option to lower graphics making game accessible in more devices, try
changing you setting to low if you are having performance issues.
- Add option to Enable/Disable VSync. Vsync is disabled by default. If you experience
screen tearing please activate VSync.
- Add glow effects to many spells
- There are now two modes: classic and hardcore. In hardcore your vision is
limited and you can only see enemies that have a line of sight with you
- General Item balancing.
