Hi @everyone, update V.0.2.6 is here! This one adds a new game mode and UX/UI improvements.

What changed :

Gameplay

Added a new mental trials game mode. This game offers a selection of challenges to solve with a defined deck. This update contains 4 trials, but we plan to make more of them in the future! We are also introducing a new kind of persistent effects. These can be added by cards, monster attacks and rooms in the main game. There is not a lot of them in the game currently, but youll see some new effects appear in the next updates! The name of game jauges changed to better fit the games theme. This might be confusing for players that are used to Sanity and HP labels. As of now, player life will be refered as Sanity, and the points used to play cards and actions will be refered as Stamina. Here is a picture of the new interface:

Cards

We reworked the design of our cards. Tell us what you think of it! Changed the name of the base equipment of the Joy emotion.

Balancing

Were investigating some cards of the Joy emotion, but as of now we dont see a card as specially problematic. Do not hesitate to tell us if you think this is the case.

Visual

Three new illustrations have been added to the game : Clunky Car, Shower, Spicy Food (all three on the Joy pool)

UX

Added a tooltip on cards that create Deep breath. Improved phobia animations

Bug fixing

Fixed a bug where lucky rewards (containing cards of an higher rarity) at the end of a fight could give players a card from another pool Fixed a bug that caused the tooltip of the second equipment to not display on hover Fixed animation bugs on Herpeto. Fixed a bug occuring in the Classroom with the new card design. Fixed bugs tied to the trials

Audio

Added ambiances for some rooms Added sound effects on modifiers Adjusted the volume on some sound elements

What is planned for the upcoming weeks ?

We will progressively add new illustrations for the Joy emotion of Lei. It will replace the beta art currently present in the cards. New phobias are coming! They will diversify the current pool and challenge players in different ways. We will correct the typos currently present in the game. This will come in a future patch.
