It has been some time since the last project update, and now that we are in December, I believe it is necessary to inform you about the current state of development. As announced in October, development resumed in November, and the Twin Roses route continues to progress steadily and with a clear direction.

At first, the story of the Twin Roses route was designed to include choices that the player had to make. However, due to certain technical and narrative difficulties, it was decided to implement a different approach based on an idea present in the original draft of the game: dividing the route into independent stories, although connected to each other. In other words, from the perspective of the protagonist (Yuki), the story begins again from the start, with some variations in the scenes. [spoiler]This approach is also appropriate because it allows linking the events with the ending of the Star Princess route.[/spoiler]

This change makes it possible for the narrative to shift depending on the route being played and also allows the reintroduction of scenes and characters that were intentionally removed during the alpha stages of development.

The Twin Roses route will require additional time to be completed due to the reimplementation of this narrative approach. However, to speed up production and move toward the final version of the game, the first part of Twin Roses, titled Esmerald Princess, will be added sometime next year (2026). Meanwhile, Flower Princess is planned for 2027, although there is a possibility of beginning its integration by late 2026.

Regarding languages, Twin Roses will be translated into English directly from the original Spanish text (Argentinian variant). For the moment, this will be the only language available. The Japanese translation will be implemented later by a professional translator.

How will this route, divided into two parts, be played?

To access these stories, it will be necessary to complete the game again. Furthermore, to continue with the Flower Princess route, it will be required to have finished both the main route and Esmerald Princess.

Will the game remain in Early Access?

Yes. The game will remain in Early Access until Flower Princess is added. Once included, the Steam page will be updated to announce the end of this phase.

Will there be price changes?

It is possible that the price may be adjusted in the future.

Will the main route be updated?

An update to the main route cannot be guaranteed, as any modification could invalidate current save files.

How many endings will the game have?

The game will feature three main routes. Each one will include a single ending, with the exception of the additional ending present in Star Princess.

What will the approximate duration of the game be?

The current draft totals 14,744 words combining Star Princess and Esmerald Princess, which is equivalent to approximately one hour of relaxed reading. The final version is expected to exceed 20,000 words; however, this figure is only an estimate and does not represent an exact measurement.
