Hello Volunteers! This is has been long overdue, so now I think it's time I give you all an update on what's been going on behind the scenes, plus the planned release schedule for the next update! First and foremost, this announcement is going to be both good and bad news. I'll sour you all with the bad news first and then move onto the good news once this paragraph is over. Get it out the way, so to speak. So bad news first; an update is going to be coming soon, but it's only going to be a core storyline update. (Main story and fantasy mode.) This means it won't have any true route updates or any Xiao Trials updates coming with it. Those will be released shortly after once they are complete. This also means the update may feel shorter, however it's come to a time where a core update is better than no update. I am sorry for the delay. This core story-line update will take you to your final choice and end after. This is due to my living situation drastically changing recently, and therefor having taken claim to some of the time I dedicate to creating The Series Test. Over the last two months I've gone from living alone to taking care of two nephews and a busy house... Big change, you could imagine. So the game is still being worked on, however the next update will be 0.87 and then 0.9 when the true routes are released too. Also I will be stopping my patreon at the end of this month as I no longer have the time to make new and fresh wallpapers for there, but I am still building a collection to add to the DLC upon 0.9 release. On to the good news! When is the next update? Within the next 30 days! Unfortunately I can't give an exact day count, but I am in the final stages of completing everything necessary to get through phase 4 and onto your last choice. The hardest choice by far. Even though this update is going to be missing the true routes and Xiao Trails update, and it may feel short on one playthrough, it is anything but. This phase is going to be jam-packed with so much varying content that you'll missing out if you don't seek it all:

• Three new true routes come into play this phase which will play out to the phase 4 end: - An Cherry/Kiyomi route. - An Alma/Kiyomi route. - A clone Aer-dula route.
• Opposed to the true routes there is now build ups to secret endings. (These vary from true routes as true routes drastically change the story, where as secret routes offer a secret base end.): - Alma/Freya - lovers route. - Aiko/Kiyomi - lovers route. - Aiko/Cherry - lovers route. - Cherry/Freya - Family route. - A new Alma love route. - A new Kiyomi love route.
• Alei-yin is going to have five different home visit options this phase. (Each replica leads to a home event with Alei, and depending on which two you have remaining decides which two you will get to see on that run.)
• With the replica's, this phase will hold loads of content there too: - Kiyomi's event has 3 variations. - Aiko's event has 3 variations. - plus a secret Cherry route. - Alma's event has 4 variations. - plus a love route and a secret Aiko route. - Freya's event has 3 variations. - Cherry's event has 3 variations. - plus a secret Aiko route. - Alei-yin event has 3 variations. - plus all her extra's if you're dating. - Haunted event has 5 variations.
• There are no special events this phase. But some may be included with update 0.9.
• Currently there are 2,500+ new renders, plus various video renders. (Including two love scenes with Alma.)
• A new map has been implemented replacing the old one. It is similar in style, but more clean then the previous.
• After last phases cliff-hanger, there is two different ways that can come to some understanding before phase 4. An Alei-yin explanation and a Cherry/single explanation.
• 30,000 + lines of code have been added.
• If time allows, there will also be a new gallery implemented into the game making it more seamless and dedicated to each replica than the free-for-all it is now.
