Gameplay update
We have moved from real-time battles to a turn-based system. In battle, the witch uses combat alchemy: with the help of recipes and available ingredients, she brews potions, conjures and summons magical entities to her side.
The interface has been redesigned to meet the needs of the new combat system: it has become less cumbersome and more understandable for the user due to color differentiation.
Instead of ready-made templates, we chose procedural generation of a global map and filling locations, issuing awards and random events.
We received a lot of positive feedback on the visual style of the game, so we decided to expand the number of creatures and locations they live in.

According to critics, the past concept of gameplay was the weak point of Covenanted. We have to move the project release date, however, we are quite sure that it is necessary. Thank you for staying with us! For this occasion, we've also updated the description and visuals.

A contract with Devil is always a bad idea
Have you ever heard of a contract with Devil leading to something good? The main character of the game tried to save her life, and as a result fell into a cycle of endless rebirths, forced to serve her master forever. Terminating a contract with someone so treacherous and cunning is not an easy task, requiring powerful allies.Visual style
We are proud of the visual style of the game. Every detail was drawn in ink on paper and lovingly digitized. We plan to release a video about the process of creating art for the project.Random events and story quests
The plot of the game is linear, but we tried to give players a sense of the consequences of decisions made in random events. The world of Covenanted is constantly changing under the influence of a magical anomaly, which causes problems for both ordinary people and magical creatures. Despite the only ending, the fate of many side characters is in your hands.Fairy Middle Ages
When creating the world, we were inspired by European and Slavic folklore, myths and legends. In Covenanted, lychees, vampires and werewolves live in the same world with characters from the Grimm brothers fairy tales and ancient myths.MINIMAL SETUP
