Hello there people of the steam community! Now that the game has been out for two months I think it's time to give you guys a little progress update on everything so far. The good news is that I already finished the beta build for the first ingame day of the update. If you didn't read the other news yet, the first big update for My New Memories will be split in half. While the prologue was six ingame days, Chapter 1 part 1 will "only" be three ingame days. But that doesn't mean you get less content, the length of the update will probably be as long as the prologue. I have big plans for this first update. One thing I wanted to talk about is the lewd scenes, which will increase with Chapter 1. And they won't be dream sequences anymore, from this point on going forward you will experience "the real" stuff, no more flashbacks only. You will also make great progress with two of the characters that the MC already started a relationship with - If you want that, of course. It is totally optional if you want to go for Sabrina or Lena, but you will miss out on content if you don't! I haven't fully decided yet if and how I want to publish the betas on steam. At the moment I will probably release the first beta for everyone here ( that wants to participate ) after the second beta has been completed. Just keep in mind that these betas will contain bugs and miss a few things ( for example, no achievements ). And it's advised that you make seperate savefiles for each beta release just in case things can break - It is a beta after all, not the full chapter! Now I want to address a few other things that have been piling up again and that I already talked about in other news. Lately people have been attacking me and some of my players personally in steam reviews, calling out the looks of the characters(again) and insulting me on a level that is not really needed. Like I said in my other post last month, Steam has a very strict review rule of their games. So even if you disagree with the looks of the characters ( even though they are not sexualised at all ), Steam allowed the game to be posted here. Calling players the worst things in the world or mentioning that they all look 12 won't change the fact that this is just your personal opinion ( that doesn't represent the actual age of the girls ). Some of the early dialogues could give that thought that the girls are younger, but that is mainly because they all experienced a severe trauma with both of their parents being involved in a car accident. This can throw people back for a certain amount of time and you will quickly notice that they return to their old behaviour in Chapter 1 ( to represent their actual adult age ). The family in My New Memories is very, very close and certain things will get explained ( for example, why the girls are still living at home etc ). Now you can disagree with that, you can also say "Stop talking bullshit they aren't as old as you say they are", and it's totally fine if you think that. But that is not what is represented in the game or the story and the actual canon age. There are ZERO reasons to attack me or anyone else, especially in reviews. If you don't like the game that is totally fine too, if you played less than 2 hours you can even refund it if you want. I would just ask you guys to not attack anyone personally or call me out on paying anyone to give me a positive review ( one guy even said I would blackmail people in order to give me a positive review ). Now I don't want to leave this news with such a negative thing at the end. That's why I'm going to show you a few teaser pictures of the first day of Chapter 1. Like I said, this update will be huge and it will contain a lot of things that some of you amazing people on steam requested.
