Okay, I feel like I'm doing a really bad job with keeping you guys on Steam updated about the current state of the game and my work in general. And I'm really, really sorry about that. I know I promised to do better but I have yet to deliver. This also goes for comments or discussions in the forum. There is no excuse for that, I was just being stupid but I promise yet again to do better. Now with this out of the way, I want to give you guys some more infos regarding Chapter II and in which direction the game is heading, especially since I already worked a few things out. The first day of the update is fully planned out and I would say the writing is about 50% done, with the renders being 30% done. This day and the update in general will be massive - I expect it to be as big or even bigger than Chapter I was, since there are a lot of things I want to do. If you didn't play the game yet or didn't finish Chapter I yet, I would avoid the rest of this paragraph since I will talk about some things that happened in the Chapter. As you may remember, at the end of Chapter II the MC got a call from Dr. Slatni, the doctor in the hospital, who told him that Anna is pregnant. This was the great surprise they wanted to announce on Christmas. After the MC gets this news a lot of memories will return and he will finally get all the hints that Anna gave him during his dreams. The first day of the update will mainly focus on that - and it will be very, very important. It's up to you if you want to tell your family about Annas pregnancy or not and the decision on that will lead to...Consequences that are not so pleasant. Let's just say it's better to be open and honest with your family, rather than being "selfish", since they rather would like to hear it from you than from the hospital. Especially someone like Lena will not take it kindly if you don't tell her yourself... My plan for Chapter II is to basically create a bit of more "tense" moments again. While I still aim for a wholesome and very feels good game, I still think that a bit of tension can help with the overall story in general. For example, the MC will remember a certain thing he did regarding Sarahs father, which makes him question how far he would go to protect his family...And if it is the right thing to do in general ( spoiler: It always is.) There is also the situation with Jessica being the only one in the family that doesn't know about Lena and the MC, and who Yukiko really is, and no one really dared to tell her yet, so that is also something you will have to decide in Chapter II. And this won't be an easy task giving her general persona... I still aim to bring a lot of emotions into this update, though, especially with the new situation regarding Anna. There are also a few relationships that might be able to get started now, besides the one that were already "Established" before the accident ( Sabrina and Lena ). Anna will also give the MC a certain memory back which will give him the permission to do...Lewd things. Let's just leave it at that, I think. There will be quite a few lewds in this update, I think, especially if you decided to be in a real relationship with Sabrina ( the twin sister ). Since you pretty much escalated that relationship very fast, you kinda want to keep it at that pace, finally embracing all the emotions that piled up before and after the accident. As a last thing I want to talk about the release date of Chapter II. I didn't talk about it here but the last month was very, very bad for my mental health. It wasn't related to work or anything, it's just a private matter that will keep me "dragged down" for a long, long time. Working on My New Memories ( or working in general ) is my only escape from this, so you don't have to be worried that my work on the game is impacted by that too much. At least I hope so. To end this post, I'll give you guys a few teasers from the first day of Chapter II. You will also see a new character there, Alba Suarez, the nurse that is taking care of Anna most of the time.
