Trading Cards for Slimy Sextet have been approved! Everyone who has played the game for enough time should get their drops immediately, and cards that aren't already in your inventory should drop as you keep playing.
You can also see the game's newly-released Emojis and profile backgrounds in the Steam Points shop here: https://store.steampowered.com/points/shop/app/1189070/
It's out! it's ready! It's here!
I'm happy to say that Slimy Sextet is finally released and available for players to buy and play. It's been a long, bumpy road to get here, but I finally have a game to show you all, and its the biggest, most polished game I've made by a long shot.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the game, helped it reach its audience, and most importantly, thank you all for being so patient as this game went through development! I hope you all enjoy the resulting game, and have fun with Slimy Sextet!
With that said, there are a few things I'd like to announce alongside the game's release.
You might notice that the game costs $11.99 (or a regional currency equivalent) when I've previously said that it would cost more. I had a long discussion with my publisher before launch, and we both agreed that a lower price would be more appropriate for this game. I hope that this will encourage more people to experience the game and feel like they got their money's worth!
I am by no means a perfect human being, and this game is by no means a perfect one. I still plan to make patches, fixes, and improvements to the game even after launch. Translations to languages beyond English are one main target of this, as the Polish translations is still unfinished, and I've been contacted by some players that some of the other languages could use some extra attention as well.
If you have a problem or issue with the game as you play, I encourage you to visit the discussion forum and let me know what you think needs fixing or improvement. I also have some troubleshooting advice listed there, in case it might help some of you run the game better!

Beyond that, have fun with Slimy Sextet, and I hope you enjoy playing my game!
This will be the final patch before release, and the one that is available on launch day.
After a long period of development, I'm finally at a point where I feel like I can announce a release date, and not have to dance around with estimates or potential delays. Thank you to everyone for your patience! Slimy Sextet will release on Steam on May 19th at 6pm PST. I am still going to push minor patches before launch, and I can't guarantee that I will have all languages fully translated by then, but I feel fairly certain that I will have all of the most important languages supported at that point, and the game will be just about as polished as I can possibly make it otherwise. I'm excited to share the full game in its final form with everyone, and I hope you'll all enjoy it!
Hooray, we've hit the big Version 1.0! At this point, the English version of the game is basically done. The few things remaining to do before I pick a release date and launch Slimy Sextet are just going to be minor things like tweaking audio volume balance, improving performance, finishing the translation to other languages, and of course marketing. Shouldn't take too long at this point.
Smaller update with new stuff.
Here's a progress update for those of you who got early access to the game.
What a wild day yesterday was, and I'm truly sorry about all of it. It was a result of my own stupidity, for certain, and I will definitely make sure nothing like this happens again. As stated in yesterday's announcement, the game was accidentally released in full instead of the demo version that was supposed to be released for the Steam Next Fest, and was made available for a low price of $2.69, which is much lower that I intended this game to be valued at. As of a few hours ago, Steam Support has stepped in and made the game unavailable for purchase, leaving only the demo version that I intended to release. They've also told me that that when the game is actually ready for its future release, they will give me a second wave of release visibility, so hopefully this will hurt the game's final release less that I had initially feared. I also very much appreciate the reception that I've gotten from those of you that have bought or seen the game in this embarrassing time. Those of you that have given positive reviews and let me know that you're willing to overlook this situation and reserve judgement for the final version, I can't thank enough. My worst fear in all of this was that the game would get a negative reputation for this, and thus lose out on a lot of its potential, and I'm very grateful that you're all so understanding and patient. I'm happy for those who are enjoying the game as it is now, and I'll work to make the final version even better. That said, the game sold about 2400 copies yesterday while it was available, and I have no power to forcefully refund or revoke those purchases. They were valid, and I can only accept that they happened and work to provide what I can for those customers in exchange for their business. I hold nothing against any of you who may have bought the game. Consider the low price an apologetic gesture of sorts for selling this unfinished product before it was ready. I'll be updating the game over time as it gets closer to being worthy of a REAL release, and I'll try to make sure you guys have access to the latest version over time. I've added a "disclaimer" to the game's current build, notifying anyone who plays it past the demo content that the game is unfinished past that point and hopefully letting them know what to expect. To answer some questions\comments I've seen:
So uh... the game was not supposed to release today. And it DEFINITELY was not meant to go on sale for as low as $2.99. It was a major screwup on my part. My only intent was to release the game's demo today, and to participate in the February Steam Next Fest event. But I guess I clicked the wrong button by accident and now a ton of the game that was not ready for the public is on sale for a price that's not going to make much back. Unfortunately, I cannot do anything right now to fix things. I can't take the game down, halt sales, change the price, or do much of anything unless I contact Steam Support, which I have. Hopefully they'll let me salvage some of this disaster, but I don't think it'll happen quickly if it happens at all, as it's the weekend and they're likely not in the office to get back to me promptly. By the time things are corrected, it's likely that the game's reviews will be bad, and I'll have already sold lots of copies at a giant discount that likely won't recoup my development costs to make the thing. I'm sorry, guys. I screwed up this game's release, and I dunno how this mess is gonna end up, but it's likely not gonna be pretty, and it might just destroy my reputation while ruining me financially. If you want to support me, feel free to buy the game at the current price and in it's current state, but I'm frankly ashamed of myself for letting this happen and releasing things as they are. Right now, I can only ask forgiveness and hope Steam Support gets back to me before the damage is too large.
