So uh... the game was not supposed to release today. And it DEFINITELY was not meant to go on sale for as low as $2.99. It was a major screwup on my part. My only intent was to release the game's demo today, and to participate in the February Steam Next Fest event. But I guess I clicked the wrong button by accident and now a ton of the game that was not ready for the public is on sale for a price that's not going to make much back. Unfortunately, I cannot do anything right now to fix things. I can't take the game down, halt sales, change the price, or do much of anything unless I contact Steam Support, which I have. Hopefully they'll let me salvage some of this disaster, but I don't think it'll happen quickly if it happens at all, as it's the weekend and they're likely not in the office to get back to me promptly. By the time things are corrected, it's likely that the game's reviews will be bad, and I'll have already sold lots of copies at a giant discount that likely won't recoup my development costs to make the thing. I'm sorry, guys. I screwed up this game's release, and I dunno how this mess is gonna end up, but it's likely not gonna be pretty, and it might just destroy my reputation while ruining me financially. If you want to support me, feel free to buy the game at the current price and in it's current state, but I'm frankly ashamed of myself for letting this happen and releasing things as they are. Right now, I can only ask forgiveness and hope Steam Support gets back to me before the damage is too large.
