P.S Dreamers, Artist, Writers, Coders, Indie devs all: Just something I learned tonight I want to share with any inspiring indie devs. I wanted to do this crazy update, like all my updates, where I add another 10k lines of writing. New systems. New functions. Bug check everything. Play test every single thing imaginable, and make it the best 2d rpg/civ manager/ adventure game I've ever played. I spent weeks, 16 hours a day, coding, writing, and drawing. And I didn't get half done my list. Then I played the game. Smoothest play through I've ever had. My changelog was a page long. Everything worked. Everything was improved. There must have been 6-12 hours of gameplay there. And I hate that I doubted myself thinking it wasn't good enough for one second more. Take your breaks. Enjoy your progress. Listen to feedback. Chew it slowly. And your game should be looking pretty good too.
