Hi all,
Over weekend I was tinkering a bit around potions design. It looks like this so far:
- potions are being sold as items in items shop
- every unit can hold one potion only (also non-heroes!)
- potions are single-use, but their effect in immediate
- potions can be used without losing turn (it means you can drink potion and still attack)
- potions are expensive
So far there are four potions:
- Life Potion/Vial of Blood (for Undead) +2 hp
- Antidote Potion removes poison and disease, cheap
- Magic Potion +3 mp, expensive
- Strength Potion +2 Attack for few turns
Potion's design should force them to be used sparingly. It will change dynamics a bit, but it should not require any major re-balancing.
As always - we are open for suggestions.
What do you think?
