- new: Nairi’s campaign has been decorated with torches, statues, all other static objects:
- new: some items change hero’s affinity, e.g. Crown of Undead will make Nairi evil. I hope is should create an interesting mechanics, when teams are more mixed (especially in forest campaign).
- new: (AOF3 only) locations can be now shared between campaigns, for example Artificer’s Shop and Smugglers Den. Locations will unlock based on game progress (they are scripted now). This is part of Open World feature and more new locations will follow.
- new items: Heroism Potion, Idol of Happiness, Sphinx’s Stone, Valentine’s Roses
- new hero’s skill: Charisma (+1 Morale)
- update: both AOF3 campaigns were proofread again
- update: AOF1 story illustrations are about 25% done. After we have all done, AOF1 will be promoted to Gold. Several sketches below:
- update: both campaigns in AOF1 have dynamically adjusted AI difficulty now. Working on AOF2.
- update: new portraits for: Peasant, Channeler, Hellbat, Summoner, Alchemist
Hellbat - update: permanent wounds decrease Morale
- update: hint for limited ammo for BoneCatapult and Cannon.
- balance: enabled potions for ghosts, insectoids and beasts
- bugfix: AI will use control spells correctly, i.e. come to unit to control it. That was leftover fix from the recent move-and-action change for control spells
- bugfix: conversation was breaking serial-shots
- bugfix: Bone Catapult AI was not targeting groups
- bugfix: Harpies and Minotaur did not use potions
- other: 2nd AOF3 “Blood and Moon” DLC is in progress (30% done)
- other: we already have put away about half of money needed for voiceovers. We still need more sales, but hopefully, somewhere early next year we will order voiceovers for both AOF3 campaigns.
- other: open-world - we plan to use all levels from all previous games as a base, but populate them with different objects. A number of features have been already implemented: shared world-map levels, auto-building of AI teams (done), auto-populated static objects (50% done), rotation/reversing terrain areas (todo), team starting areas (todo)
- other: We have started working on OpenGL rendering. It’s a long way to go.
- other: expect funny surprise on Halloween :-)
