Hey everyone, the playtest has been running for a while now so it's nearly time to close it. This weekend is your last chance to give the solo training a spin as I'll close the playtest on Monday 6! Thanks to everyone who participated already Don't forget to give me your feedback with this quick questionnaire (5 mins max), this would help me a lot. See you soon
Hey everyone, the playtest has officially started!
If you registered, you should now be able to download the game. If you already own Dashpong, it should be a different game so don't get confused! You should see version 1.4.3-playtest on the titlescreen.
You'll find the training mode in the mode selection. You need a gamepad to play.
After playing, please fill in this quick questionnaire (5 mins max), this would help me a lot.
Don't forget to add the name you want to use in the credits while filling the questionnaire.
See you soon

Hey everyone, I'm actively working on a Switch port at the moment but I'm not forgetting about you, the Steam players! I've been wanting to add a solo training mode for a while, and I'm finally working on it.
This is not normal Dashpong but with AI opponent but a different mode where you can go through different "levels" to "train". Think about target mode, fighting the original Pong paddle, defend mode, etc.. It's still in developement so playtest won't start right away and I'm still open to ideas so if you want to see a specific training mode that could work well in solo, let me know!
You can register right now, head over to Dashpong page and click register! You'll be notified when the playtest is open.

I've been testing Dashpong many times on the Steam Deck, and believe the game is 100% compatible, and plays fantastic on the device! I have a native linux build to ensure the best compatibility possible. You can easily play with multiple people by connecting controllers to the steam deck and it works well. Please use the comments on this event to let me know your experience with the game on Steam Deck.
I fixed some resolution bug for bigger display. If you ever had weird visual artifcats when playing on a big resolution display, please try again! I fixed some things with gamepad vibration and some special modes.
Small update adding a setting for hitstop
Dashpong is part of the CJxGC indie game festival and you can enjoy a 45% discount for the occasion!
I've also worked on adding more languages to the game. It's now available in Chinese, Hindi, Italian & German! I hope you'll enjoy. If there's any problem with the localization, don't hesitate to tell me.
Byyye!
Small update adding new languages!
HOTFIX, player 1 would control both players.. oops
This is a small update where I added a bit of juice! Most notably: bounce animations, scaling of the ball, players animation and hitstops :)
The Frienship Games Week has started and Dashpong is 35% until February 19. Grab it while it's hot!
Dashpong will be part of the Friendship Games Week event of Steam and for the occasion, the game will be on sale! So if you wanted to grab a copy, wait for a few days ;)
The event will take place from February 13th to 19th.
Byyye ;)
That's it, that's the news. Dashpong is 30% until january 5!
Enjoy and don't forget to try the Winter update :)
The game would crash when restarting after playing the new special mode.. oops Should be good now! Enjoy :)
Hey guys, it's officially winter and so I thought bringing a small winter update to Dashpong would be cool
I've added a new Ice map and a new special mode called Gifts. In this mode, Santa crosses the map and drops gift. When you open the gift by dashing on it, you can either freeze the enemy, freeze your own goal (as a protection) or freeze the opponent's side, making it slippery. What comes out of the gift is random and applies automatically.
I've also added a new dynamic camera option! It's enabled by default but you can switch back to the static camera at anytime by toggling it off in the settings. I personnaly really like the new camera, it feels like you're in the game more.
I hope you'll enjoy this small update, and see you tomorrow for the Winter Sales!

For the GWB Game Awards, there's a week long event on Steam showcasing the games that participated and won the awards. Dashpong was part of the final selection so it's present in the event! For the occasion, I'm putting the demo up again for the duration of the event. If you're wainting for sales, Dashpong will be discounted for the winter sales (with the biggest discount so far!), so stay tuned for that. Grab a friend and enjoy the demo ;) PS: Stay tuned for the winter update releasing on 21/12 with a new map and a new special mode!
Hey guys, I wasn't able to participate in the previous sales because it was too close to release date, so here's a weeklong sale at 15% off! I hope you'll enjoy this sale, see you soon for the winter update!
Some achievements were not working.. OOPS!
Bumpy map had a bug where the obstacles were invisible... It's now fixed!
A new update with some small changes! Most notably, new resolutions option and some important fixes for custom mode and special balls.
The Dashpong release sale ends in 5 hours from now, so grab your copy at 10% off now! If you can't get it or want to wait a bit, I'll participate in the Winter sales, so you can wait until then! I can't participate in the the next sale events because it's too close to release unfortunately, so you'll have to wait! Thanks to everyone buying and playing the game. See you soon for more updates ;) PS: Don't forget to leave a review on Steam. It helps me A TON with visibility :)
The last build removed the player collisions... oops
I made some small modifications to the way music is played. It will now crossfade gently between songs. It's also handling better the transition to near timeout (less than 30 seconds of game).
I've a added a music player showing you what song is playing. It's visible for a few seconds in game and always visible in the pause menu.
I made a bunch of modifications and small fixes. There was no major bugs.
That's it guys, Dashpong is finally released!
I planned the release for Friday to give you the weekend to play with friends, I hope you'll be able to!
Don't forget to use the Remote Play Together to play online with a friend, you only need 1 game for that.
If you have any problem, don't hesitate to tell me, the best way is probably to create a community post or on my Discord server.
If you enjoy the game, please give it a review! It's super important for us indie devs to have the first 10 reviews as fast as possible, as Steam will push the game more!
Anyway, enjoy the game and see you soon for new updates :D
PS: I didn't manage to stream unfortunately as my internet connection was too unstable.
The day has come! Dashpong is out, so let's enjoy some gameplay :) Thanks everyone for the support! EDIT: I have to stop the livestream as my internet is horrible... thanks to my amazing provider for its amazing fiber optics upload speed of 1mb! I'll try again later
Hey everyone,
Dashpong releases next week (October 28th) and I'm super excited!
I made a new devlog talking about my preparation for release, how I decided on a release date, etc.. If you want to jump straight to the video, click below!
[previewyoutube=-azLB8Brzas;full][/previewyoutube]
I'm not going to lie, deciding on a release date was not an easy task. I've been struggling to work on Dashpong for a few weeks now, and I was starting to hate the game.
During development, I had a lots of ideas for the game. I wanted to add many things, I was really excited. When I decided to release the game, I had to face reality and decide what features should be kept or not.
I don't want you to buy the game thinking things will be there and then be disappointed because they're not. Let me get straight to the point:
I decided to remove the tournament mode, the solo training mode and AI opponents.
It doesn't mean they're gone forever, and for example I know that AI opponents can be really useful, so I'm probably going to work on it for a future update.
At release, you'll have the classic mode, the arcade mode with all the special modes and a custom mode to select various things: player size, speed, duration, etc.. Of course you can still play up to 4 people and even in asymmetry (2v1 or 3v1).
I have updates planned for Dashpong, with new maps, new game modes, so stay tuned for that!
Thanks everyone for your support, see you at release :)
Dashpong will release on October, 28th! Mark the date, and in the meantime, you can try the demo!
It's been more than one year, and I want to to thanks everyone for the support, feedback and ideas. It's been a blast working on the game and even if it wasn't as fast as I thought, I'm still very happy.
I'm sure you'll enjoy the game, and I'm excited for the release and the future! I have tons of things planned for future updates.
PS: The date is not yet visible on Steam, the build has to be reviewed first
Hotfix because I introduced a bug in the previous version! The match finished screen would show when pressing pause. It should be fixed now!
This update changes some visual stuff and fixes some minor bugs. Here's a list of what changed:
The last update was on June, so it was time to update the demo as I'm working on making the game more stable but also more juicy! Here's a list of what changed:
Hey guys, Since my last devlog here, I published two devlogs on YouTube! In the first one, I dive a bit deeper in the time rewind mechanic. I explain how I got the idea, how I implemented it and what were the challenges. I also talk about all the changes that happened in Dashpong, and there was a lot! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6senbbMsi8M After that, two game designers from the Let's playtest youtube channel played my game and made a video to give me feedback! It was an awesome and very valuable experience. I'm already working on some of the stuff they suggested. If you want to see more, I did a react video [previewyoutube=PsceIoUYRKc;full][/previewyoutube] I'm working on lots of boring stuff at the moment (stability, localization, etc..) so I'm probably going to reduce the number of devlogs or focus on cool features such as the replay functionality, or some special modes! Let me know if you want a devlog on something specific! Byyyye
Hey guys , it's been a long time since my last devlog, and I wanted to write a few words before doing my next video about Dashpong! Development has been going really well, and I just updated the demo. So, if you just want to play, download the latest build and enjoy ;) I don't think I'll be able to list everything that happened since the last devlog, but here we go!
Hey guys, here's the newly updated Dashpong demo, yaay!
In this new update, you'll experience the newly redesigned maps, animations and effects. You also gain access to some special modes, twisting the rules of the game to make it even more fun and chaotic.
Here are the special modes you can try today:
- Fragile paddles

- Moving obstcles
- Adding uo
- No boundaries
- No paddle
- Fast, fast!
- Invisible paddles
- Paddle, come back!
I'm going to let you discover what those are, in the mean time, I'm continuing my work on Dashpong, adding more content (new maps, new modes)!
If you have any problem, or suggestion, don't hesitate to tell me about it. You can comment on this post, or on discord, or by email or dm. All the links are below

Hey guys, Dashpong devlog 7 is here! In this devlog, I'm showing you everything that I redesigned: all maps, the in game animations & the UI and also the progress I've made on special modes. The redesign went really well and I'm super excited for the new look. I feel very confident now and designing more content is easier than before. In terms of special mode, I already have more than 10 implemented in the game, that I'll be playtesting soon. I'm always adding more and I'm open to suggestions! So, if you have one (or more!) drop them in the comments I've already started upgrading the visuals on this page and on Steam, but I still have some work with the GIFs and a new trailer! Also, I'll soon update the demo, that way you'll be able to experience the new visuals and some special modes! I'm really excited for the future of Dashpong, and I hope you are too! Hey guys! I completely forgot the post here last week when I released devlog 5! So This week, you have both devlog 5 & 6 :) In devlog 5, I talk about my experience creating a demo for the Steam Next Fest, and it wasn't super pretty! [previewyoutube=MBJ-K_Jp6Rw;full][/previewyoutube] In devlog 6, I reveal the new art style for Dashpong (which I'm super excited for!) and I also talk a bit more about the Next Fest (numbers & advices). [previewyoutube=sT9xmlFqUTY;full][/previewyoutube] I hope you'll enjoy them, and tell me what you think of the new design! I still have a lot of stuff to do, but it's going in the right direction imo. I can't wait to show you more. Byyye
In this livestream, I'll be live, ready to reply to your questions. We can talk about Dashpong, the future of the game, when I hope to release it, etc.. I'll there for about an hour to reply to everything! I'll also showcase some gameplay at the same time, so stay tuned! See you there ;)
In this livestream, I'll showcase all the maps currently available in Dashpong (not just the demo ones) in 1V1 matches! I hope you'll enjoy the event!
The Steam Next Fest has officially started, and you can try the Dashpong demo! Enjoy the game solo with the training mode or with friends (up to 4 players!). There might be an issue if the controller vibration is set to none (the game crashes). If that's the case, go in the game's settings and make sure controller vibration is either soft or normal! If you have any problem running the game, please tell me! Here are all the ways you can contact me:
