IMPORTANT


This update will erase your save file. However, we've added debugging tools. In the splash (intro) screen, press 1-9 on your keyboard to restart at that level. LESS IMPORTANT For full patch notes, see CHANGELOG.txt in the data folder BUG FIXES
  • Cannot play game on old Linux machines (see README.txt)
  • Updating on Steam overwrites the save file
  • KO'd Fruitbol players can still run around
  • Fruitbol players get stuck in locker rooms
  • Tutorial levels break if they have already been won
  • Various issues with pathfinding in bathrooms
GAMEPLAY
  • David in Rutherford scenario is much more likely to be teased
  • Simplified how some child traits and quests work
  • Cannot hire or fire in the middle of the day or at night
  • -$100 per unenrolled student
  • Vice principals can auto-brain-hack
  • Fruitbol has a 2 minute time limit
UI / UX
  • Notifications clear at the start of each day
  • HUGE improvements to formatting of child trait tooltips
  • Budget label only shows sunset costs

    • In No Pineapple Left Behind, you have to run a school full of children. Children have lots of wants, needs, and feelings. That's a problem, because if they get don't pay attention in class and get low grades, your school loses money. However, you can turn children into pineapples. All that pineapples do is take tests and get grades. They do not have feelings and are not people, but they are much simpler to handle, and therefore much cheaper.
