Fox Game prototype

Fox Game Prototype is a metroidvania game in its early stage of development about a fox that had to flee from its village because of an obscure threat, inspired by Hollow Knight and Ori and The Blind Forest.

Exploration

Exploration the Forest area, a 2D environment that can be freely explored. Rest at fox holes to save. Try to find the bow and reach the end of the level.

Combat

Fight enemies with a one-button combat system: press LMB/X to attack, press again at the end of an attack to chain combos and deal more damage (up to three times). The game currently features 4 types of enemies with unique attacks and varying strength.

Development

The purpose of this demo is to test the game mechanics, it currently only features the first area without any information about the story. The fate of the project is currently unknown and will vary depending on the feedback the prototype receives.
