Skycliffs is a singleplayer fast-paced action shooter roguelike where you fight your way through procedurally generated multi-heights sky islands!

I have been working on this game since the beginning of 2021, released a technical demo in June 2021, and I am now happy to release an alpha build that you can play right now! Download links are below!

Please keep in mind that this is still an early built of a game under active development. Runs are fully playable from start to the final boss, but you will encounter a limited set of monsters, items and events. This alpha reflects my current progress and does not constitute a complete polished gaming experience. If you encounter any bug or wish to share any thought or suggestion, please tell me in the comments or via my website. I wish to make this game as enjoyable as possible and I thank you for helping me in that process!



In this alpha, you will experience full runs that consists of traveling through 6 archipelagos and facing a final boss. Archipelagos are composed of islands full of monsters. Fight your way until the exit with your gun, double-jump and dash abilities, shields and smash attack! Manage your resources to level up and improve your stats and equipment. And survive long enough to reach the last trial!

This apha contains:

  • 5 main archipelagos with their unique look and traps (+ secret ones)
  • 14 monsters to fight
  • 36 equipment items
  • 8 weather events adding local modifiers to islands
  • A final boss
  • Optional minigames
  • A journal with entries to unlock and stats
  • A quick tutorial

The alpha also has remappable keyboard and mouse controls, an autosave system, some profile statistics, and is available in English and French.

The full game will feature more monsters, traps, items, lore and weather events, along with the missing soundtracks and enriched meta progression.



Radiant Sloth is a one-man-army, backed by precious friends for testing and polishing. I am an indie French developer with computer science background and a passion for stories. I strive to make games that you will enjoy as much as I loved creating them. That’s why I like to carefully think about what I design and to polish until things feel just right.
