Currently, the title screen and music selection works! Did not have enough time to implement the gameplay :D

We still enjoyed our time with this jam and learned a lot. Hope you guys get to at least enjoy our visuals and music!

==Godot Wild Jam 2021 Submission==

The Broken Outlet Survivor

You sir are the sole surviving ball of electricity that made it through the broken outlet into the circuit board that is powering your game jam server!! You now have a duty to power the circuit as much as you can! Beware, the circuit have dead ends that might trigger some baddies that might try to put you out!!

Rules

  1. Your character is a bolt of electricity and main goal is to stay alive as long as possible while racking up as many points
  2.  Stay alive by picking up lightning bolts (health + movement boost)
  3. Each circuit acts as a multiplier to your points. So, the more circuits that are lit up, the faster your points go up
  4. When your electricity/health goes to 0, you lose.
  5. Dead ends will "invert" your power ups to baddies

Fun Stuff To Know:

The enemies have names:

- Mac the Troubled Water

- Yugo the Not-So-There Capacitor,

- Victor the Excessive Voltage Hothead

All very bad for a circuit's health!

Additional Notes

- The game currently on works on PC! Did not have enough time to implement touch screen functionality!

- There are unfortunate cracklings and pops with the audio. Godot seems to have known audio bugs for web exports! I hope you can enjoy the music nonetheless.

- General optimizations have sort of been neglected so we apologize if have there are lag spikes or lag (especially with the HTML build)
