• Press Esc to pause, i didn't include it in the tutorial because my brother suggested I don't

If the game is buggy on Windows 8 or newer, follow these steps:

1- Right click the .exe file. (in the .zip version, click engine.exe inside the bin folder) and select Properties.

2- Click 'Compatibility' in the top bar.

3- Check the 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' and select Windows 7 in the drop-down menu.

4- Hit OK and run the game. It should work normally.

The game will create a small file called "CardboardCaptainSave.dat," this is the game data file. Always keep this file in the same folder as the main game, otherwise the star counter starts over.
