Welcome to Cubic GhostPuzzle!

Playing as a cube, solving puzzels. Thats the game. But what is real, and what is not?

Background

This is my submission for Brackeys GameJam 2022.1, themed: It is not real.
This is my first time doing a GameJam. also one of the first time trying to make a working game. I am a first year game programmer student so more will come from me. But I had some school things to finish up the first few days of the jam so I started on Wednesday and well here I am today.

How to play?

The game has support for both keyboard and controller!

Keyboard:

To move you use A D to move left and right.
You jump using "SPACE".

Controller:

To move you use the left stick, left and right
You Jump using "South_Button" [A on Xbox, X on PlayStation]

GamePlay:

You will puzzle your way through levels using a "ghost" powerup. You also must feel your way through the game and trust the mechanics to advance forward! Addition to this there is also coins that you can catch. So far these is fairly simple to find but will be harder as the game progress. [NOTE: For now there is only one level, but more will come after the jam!]

Mechanics and future

The game is focused on some new mechanics I wanted to learn and just to make something functional. But as you might see, it is a lot more to do here.

Some things I would love to add:
 - A better menu
 - Some settings in the settings menu
 - Sound
 - More levels
 - Change the level Design to low poly models instead of just cubes.
 - Fix the movement and give the ghost double jump for more interesting levels.
 - And a lot more.

Thanks!

Thanks for testing the game and I am open for all feedback I can get! This has been fun! Hope I see you in the comments!
