Purgatorium: A Family Torn Apart  is an interactive psychological thriller made by creators of A Trip to Yugoslavia

This game puts you in shoes of Ann, a drug addict coming back to her family looking for redemption. After being rejected by her mother, she decides to spend the night in the nearby basement, hoping that she'll be able to change her mother's mind soon enough. Underneath the apartment building, she discovers the body of her dead sister...

IMPORTANT INFO:

~Everything you see in this demo is still work-in-progress.
~Please read exposition+controls in the main menu, before starting the demo.
~Demo contains two scenarios - Story & Battle.
~Purgatorium is very hard and unforgiving. Your brain and will to escape are your only allies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (The weakest gear on which the game was tested) :

Processor: AMD Athlon II Dual-Core M320 2.10 GHz
RAM: 2 GB
Graphic card: ATI Radeon HD 4500

RECOMMENDED (This gear was used to develop the game) :

Processor: Intel Pentium G3420 3.20 GHz
RAM: 3 GB
Graphic card: AMD Radeon HD 6670

NOTES:

  1. The game was also tested on a laptop using Intel i5 with integrated graphics (with 4 GB RAM) and it worked as well.
  2. Linux and Mac builds are experimental. We do not guarantee that they will work, but hopefully we'll get the gear to test them soon.
  3. Nvidia Geforce 7300 GT doesn't take the game graphics lightly, so if you're using this card, there's a risk that Purgatorium might not be playable
