Ruins of Tytan.

Alana finds herself in unknown territory. Armed only with her Spear, she goes out to investigate... 
Throw your spear, but don't forget.. You only have 1 spear. so you better retrieve it after throwing it.

Controls

Keyboard + Mouse: 

  • WASD to move
  • Mouse to aim
  • Left-Click [hold] to aim
  • Left-Click [release] to throw
  • Left-Click [hold] to recall (needs to be unlocked)
  • Shift to Dash  (needs to be unlocked)
  • Esc to pause
  • Space to confirm dialog

Controller:

  • Left stick to move and aim
  • Left-action button [hold] to aim  -  (square on ps contoller, X on xbox controller, etc)
  • Left-action button [release] to throw 
  • Left-action button [hold] to recall (needs to be unlocked)
  • Top-action button to Dash  (needs to be unlocked)  - (triangle on ps controller, Y on xbox controller, etc)
  • start / option button to pause
  • bottom-action button to confirm dialog - (X on ps controller, A on xbox controller, etc)

Known issues (will probably fix some of these later):

  • Being able to move in some case were you aren't supposed to
  • The web version has some issues with displaying a certain mesh. (Use the native version instead)
  • The web version doesn't work on MacOS and iOS (download the MacOS version instead)

Godot wild jam #57 :

(Warning: Contains light spoilers - play before you read):

This game was created for Godot wild jam #57.  The theme of the jam was 'Forgotten knowledge'.  My take on the theme is that you unlock new abilities (forgotten powers) by defeating bosses, allowing you to progress in the game. At the end of the game an additional link to the 'Forgotten Knowledge' theme is made, but I won't spoil it here. The game draws inspiration from Titan Souls, and initially I planned different bosses that each use a special ability that you will earn by beating them. 

As always I overscoped by quite a lot, and after a couple of days I realised that 1 boss would be all that I would be able to finish (and it doesn't even use an unlockable ability). Then with some variations of that boss, I created the others. 
Another thing that I wasn't able to implement on time is audio. Feel free to play some of your own tunes in the background while playing this, as you won't miss a thing :D

  • Fixed several bugs and glitches
  • Updated keyboard controls: Shift can now be used to dash 
  • The player's silhouette is now displayed when obscured
